RedLine Under Tail Exhaust

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

I received an email from Redline last night stating that they were still having issues with the anodizer and they are working to ship this week.

That is correct, the holidays have slowed some people down and it is causing delays, we are working our hardest to push these things out while still maintaining quality. We hope everyone understands, thank you.

We would like to apologize to all of those who were expecting the exhaust to ship on the fourth. That time was a best case scenario and unfortunately the reality is not best case. We are working very diligently to get the systems out while still maintaining quality. All of us at Redline are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Didn't see that coming

Hope this doesnt turn out to be another Skully Helmets scenario. Some pictures of the systems (minus the anodised parts they are supposedly struggling with) ready for dispatch, might allay some buyers fears that their purchase is indeed almost good to go, would help.

I agree. Photos of almost complete systems ready to go would be a reassuring sight.

All of our preorders are shipping out today and Monday. We are extremely thankful to all of those who ordered a system and have thrown in a couple of extras in your box.

Thanks for all of your support-RL

Quick question. Red-line recommended me to change my air filter and add on the RapidBike unit. I am already going for the RapidBike but is the air filter really necessary?

IF the filter is necessary, any recommendations for brands? I'm looking for something for better dust filtration I have seen Sprint P08 and K&N High air flow, just not sure which one provides the most filtration.

cheers~

Absolutely and you want an MWR HE filter and better yet the adjustment kit with it. Bellissimoto has them and a breakdown of the uneven fueling issues they correct. [emoji1308]

Personally I think the MHR filter is overrated. Sprint Filters are used much more extensively for example in World Superstock and BSB teams such as Moto Rapido and Barni Racing, both of whom have demonstrated tangible improvements. The good thing about the Sprint filter medium, is it can be cleaned with compressed air and unless exposed to particularly heavy contamination, lasts a long time. Having had an MHR filter, the Sprint filter is also much less of a faff to change as it utilizes the OEM filter housing. Incidentally Redline's system has the provision for both the OEM and wide-band O2 sensors. If you really want the best out of the set up, you will need to purchase these extra sensors and the Youtune unit/s (as well as the Rapidbike module) since these will afford you more precise control of your bike's fuelling. You don't have to of course and your bike will run just fine with the RB unit and OEM sensors BUT your optimal set-up will be compromised to some extent.
