great project; just hope this guy can ride it and not crash it from blatant lack of skill...
^ ^ glad the project is being appreciated and also understand it will receive positive and negative comments.
Kope sharing his project was reason I shared mine. This is a project I have been waiting to do for a long time.
^ I can ride
Not the nicest thing to say VAST....
^ yep - totally agree.
I would not be doing this if I did not have the experience - safety of others paramount, safety to my self and I certainly would not build such a bike without the skills to then enjoy it - a complete waste of time and money. +20 years of riding, raced as a privateer at club level in UK on 996.
I personally believe it will be easier to ride than my R - I will find out soon.
thx for being honest....the other kustom builder here had no legit right to jump on a bike like he did and paid dearly for it multiple times (luckily he didnt take anyone out with him)....
Thanks for sharing your build. I am looking forward to see how high spec your going to make the SL
I would recommend you keep ALL your original parts though as some folks enjoy the ability to return the bike to stock, not just for parting out more so for the challenge. It's an SL, keep the original parts in my opinion.
Good Luck with your build.
Kope999R's project was awesome.

In that case then most of the people here have no right to have a 1199 and should stick to something smaller like a 600cc as they are riding nowhere near its potential and only riding it on the street.
