Will they take stollen first borns as payment? Or a soul? I'll sign the contract in my own blood to make it all official.

Gecko are you buying one? Can I get a free one? That about covers it.

I would, but I'm broke :(
BTW: official website is Suter500

I know this company's (about 20kms away from me) products a little bit because they make terrific clutches for dirt bikes, I had them installed in my KTM and Husaberg, and they now have a prototype for the Panigale.

will this have all the traction control and wheelie controls like current gen superbikes? or if this is the old 2 stroke wider maker of the 90's?

It has sensors on the wheels so I'm gonna guess it has all the bells and whistles.

If I had the money like that I would buy it.. Maybe Big Boost will buy one and I can drool on it lol..

without rider aids, that thing is going to be a catapult. The best riders in the world were regularly thrown from 500cc GP bikes as they were prone to highsiding.

It takes being on a track and all the skill I can muster just to tap into the upper capabilities of my bike; the talent required to pilot a monster like this is beyond me.

I saw an interesting clip, where they asked current MotoGP riders if they would ride a 500cc two-stroke if given the opportunity. Some said yes, some said hell no, but all spoke with a clear respect for the ferocious reputation of those bikes.

^^this

I've had extensive experience racing 250s (modern TZ250) and I'd hesitate to throw a leg over a 500.

At 7800 rpm there's no motor and at 8k rpm you have all of it. They are lightswitch, twitchy widow makers and will spit you in a heartbeat if you're not paying attention (why I loved racing one. :) )

It's not just the power or the light weight but the motor characteristics. There's no midrange. There's no topend. There's no bottom end. It's either ON or OFF. Not for the faint of heart. And would be (imho) suicidal to throw a leg over this if you've never been on a real road racing 2-stroke.

and to put things into perspective freddie spencer alan cathcart and a few others said the motogp 800cc bike was impossible to ride with out rider aids not sort of hard to ride - Impossible . it was a 4stroke .

In theory a v4 two stroke could be made to be rideable. most of what made Doohans bike unrideable (for example) was the firing order combined with the fact the bike was tweaked to max HP . the screamer engine was even firing order iirc no pause full power 360 º Mick was the only person who could ride it

All that said what Kismetcaptain and charlimin90 said is obviously said by people who know first hand.

some racer from the GP500 days said when asked how he went so fast :

"well I just twist the round tube on the right until I see Jesus then I let off"

I miss that kinda insanity sometimes LOL

Bro tell Suter to send me a sample model. If I like it I will buy one. Also ask for specs, videos, pics, brochures and anything else they can possibly send me. If I get my stuff fixed I will order one next year. B|

There is nothing like the feel and sound of a hitting maniacal 2 stroke multi, I miss my TZ days and racing in a pack of 2 strokes. This bike is bad ..., and Sutter's stuff is done to an incredibly high level, out of my price range, regretfully.
