So what were the final numbers after the tuner dialed it in?

haven't gotten there yet. need to go back next week for a final dial-in session. but if it made 192whp/97tq with how off the AFR curves were, there is significant room for improvement, if not in absolute numbers, at least in smoothness and drivability.

XML file something failed!!!!!

Try right click mouse on the program icon, properties, and select run as administrator

It's the iPhone app I find really convenient,
Can do all the changes that the windows config program can do and flash + add trims.
Awesome!

Great work getting your TB aging, well done. Can I ask what you mean by 100% in the first 3 years ?
100% of what ?
Thanks

well, in the OP, Wayne found that the throttle would only open to 70% in the first three gears. So pinning the throttle with a bone-stock bike is very fast but not necessarily frightening. Mode 2 gives 100% which definitely opens up a new level and gives the wheelie control quite a workout. Mode 3 has some kind of different map; I don't know what was done, but it's edgier and more aggressive all around.

Is there a restriction in throttle opening on the 2015 R as well? (Original map)

Do the ducati upmap thake away this restriction or only your custome map?
/Peter

just double-checking....if you're not going to use the stock O2 sensors for auto-tuning, you can just unplug them, remove the sensors and plug the bungs with 12mm plugs, yes?

If you want to log again in future, I think they are needed.
But if your mapped and have trim already for your specific bike i'd say remove them.

So a buddy of mine talked to Dave from redline I think the rexxer distributor and he said the 1299 and the 1199s do not have throttle restrictions in the first 3 gears. I kinda find it hard to believe as well that the Ducs have restrictions on them. Does anyone have a dyno proving that they are restricted?

I don't, but I do have a pair of brown-stained underwear. Stock, pinning it in 2nd gear was very fast, exhilarating, etc. Derestricted, albeit also with slip-ons, air filter, and 41T rear sprocket, pinning 2nd gear is terrifyingly fast.

Than I will say it's the slip ons, filter and more importantly the 41T that made the difference.

I dare anybody to come jump on the Dragon Lady and pin her throttle in second gear. She will do a triple double backwards summersault with a half twist and smack your head so deep into the tarmac you will be speaking Chinese afterwards (for many months to come). :D
