Tuneboy map feature for 1299 and Panigale R

I saw that Tuneboy had updated the Flashmitsubishi and TuneboyTrim programs with the V6 Beta programs but wasn't aware the V6 Cruise/Tune/Cruise & Tune files were available yet? I'll only reflash the bike when I'm sure the software versions are compatible.

They have been emailling me the maps. I ask for lastest maps after I brought some extras from their current xmas sale, so they mail me V4/V5 maps but said they would email me the V6 one next day.

They might get the website links working.....
 
is it that the only people that have gotten V6 working, have done so through emailed map files?

I've requested a set of V6 files to be emailed to me, but haven't heard anything yet. I am in dire need because I'm now converting my Multistrada to Tuneboy.

As of now I would not worry about V6. The only difference between V6 and V5 is launch control. At the moment it doesn't work for me on my Panigale R.

I also have another issue with the V6 which is the map he sent me has a constant ice light on the dash. Emailed Wayne... Still waiting.

Update about V6.

Ice light issue was due to the GPS plug being swapped with the air temp sensor plug. Beware, they are the same plug and very close to each other.

Still no resolution regarding launch control. Have written about 12 emails. Got a response saying it does work... Ok.

Can anyone post if they have successfully used launch control on a 1299 or a Panigale R?
 
The 1299 i put it on the Launch control worked first time. It only works on first 2 trim maps.
I did an 899 too. But had a issue with the new throttle map select (would go auto full throttle once you selected 6 gear)
Sent new map, and works good now.

V6 tunedit doesnt show the gear number when adjusting BlipH table

You only seem to get maps from email nowdays.....unless someone wants to start there own FTP page

Thanks for the feedback. Interested in what the differences would be between the 1299 and the Panigale R. For the life of me I can't get it to work.

Anyone have success with the 15 or 16 Panigale R?
 
Tune boy V6 with Panigale 1299 S (modelyear 2106) the tune file is not accepted

When I select the tune file I got the following message

Welcome!
You will now be asked to open a tune that is suitable for your bike!
When the next screen displayed please select the tune for your make, year and model.
The tuneboy tunes have been installed in a folder called Tuneboy Tunes, this is on your desktop
Click OK to continue

But then you cannot select anything.
When I select a 1199 tune file or a multistrada file the program says something like : this is the wrong tune file not suitable for your bike.....

Does somebody have a solution

I am running the V6 map. Just got an update and the launch control is fixed for the R. Other than that I haven't had any issues. I did get a custom tune which was critical since there is not a tune for the panigale R yet.
 
I am running V6 and upgraded from V4.
Multistrada 1200 Gen1 runs great with Launch control only works on Map1 and Map2.

1199 Panigale S temperately switched back to V4 due to quickshifter not working.
1199 extra power mode works great (which pulls hard at higher RPM). Launch control works as MTS1200 does.
Quickshifter stop working. (I switch between V4 and V6 a couple times to confirm this). will change the quickshifter plug to front O2 and give it a try later.

TuneboyTrim V6 beta program seems have a little issue. When I disconnected from the bike and open a trim file. the Ign F and Ign R table is full of garbage values.....(like -100, some values are ok, some are not)

Got Quickshifter back to work in V6, I swap the quickshifter to the front O2 connector and it works.....
