When you first attach the T-800 it will download and save whatever map is on the bike. Be it the OEM or Akra. You then can send the Mtorque to the bike and if you wanted reload the OEM or Akra if you were taking it to the dealer or to compare.

After fitting the 14T up front I had my real longer ride today.... and to my utter disgust and frustration I picked up issues with my quick shifter.... Did a tire calibration - no go! Up shifting OK but down is either not there or harsh... Testing tomorrow again and if still an issue I'm back to the OEM 15T. Regards.

Yes - but been riding 5000 km with then without issue....

Sorry to hear about your QS issues post the gearing change. Presume you did the 30-32mph (or whatever that is in km/h) 5 sec ride? Did it flash up to say it was confirmed? Besides the QS issue, how did the bike feel with the 14T?

Wouldn't you just unplug the O2 Sensor? I'm pretty sure with my ARK map they shut them off. My T800 came in today and I'm dying to try it.
Hey Somefun, digging up an old post here. Have you ever been able to confirm if the Akra map shuts the lambdas off? I'm guessing they're still physically connected though? The dealer installed my race slip on/de-cat.

I’m assuming the Akra race slip ons yes? Did you have the Ducati Up Map installed when the Akras were fitted? Does the MTorque map override it and is it possible to map it back if you wanted?

Cheers

I’m assuming the Akra race slip ons yes? - Correct and yes.

Did you have the Ducati Up Map installed when the Akras were fitted? - Yes, of course.

Does the MTorque map override it and is it possible to map it back if you wanted? Yes, the UpMap T800 allows you to backup the current firmware/mapping and store it for you so that you can restore it/change for your self at anytime.

Yes, got a green "completed" confirmation. The 14T makes a small difference as from 7000 rpm and up....

The O2 sensors MUST be disconnected physically... easy job to do...

I did the 520 conversion and gearing is -1 front with +2 rear. Its pretty serious for sure. After my custom tuning I'd even say its a bit too much. I'm going to swap out my rear to only be +1, I know its not a big change from +2 but I have the rear gear on the shelf so I'll use it.

I think -1 front and +1 rear is the best ratio! Regards!

I'm loving the -1F/+2R along with the OFT Stage I tune, bike rips and I'm still no higher than 3rd gear during aggressive canyon runs. The OEM quickshifter sucks, especially compared to the aftermarket SG QS I installed on the last bike, the Cordona unit will be the next item to cross off the list right after I test out the new Domino throttle. Every little mod just makes this bike incrementally better and it was already awesome, just needed some detail work.

What was wrong with your quick shifter? After I did my gearing changes and set the bike for them I’ve had zero issues. Why are you looking at the Domino throttle? Why not just use the throttle spacers? Are you trying to change the throttle turn?

Have you managed to sort your QS issues?
I re-adjusted the chain as it felt a little too tight after the 14T change, then did another calibration. I then rode the bike, using the clutch (up & down) for about 20 km. Hereafter I did a 200 km ride and it felt as if the ECU re-learned the QS - it became better for sure. So, to answer your question, yes the QS came back but it still feels a slight bit "harsh / notchy".... Maybe not the best of best QS there is?? Regards!

The quicksilver for me has been awful and super ....... dangerous. I want to say 6 out of 10 shifts from 3rd to 4th or 4th to 5th it acts like it goes into neutral and then bucks super hard. I hate it. I never have this problem with my 2019 R1.
