More details on the Translogic quick shifter please!

I was planning on buying one, but what issues did you see? What do you mean too sensitive? Like you barely touch the peg and it cuts power (as if it’s thinking you’re wanting to upshift)?

Hi. When it’s working, it works so amazingly. It’s super smooth, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the tuning. The shifts are crisp and virtually seamless and better than OEM. But, yes, I find it too touch sensitive for accidental engagement.

That said, lol, would you like to buy mine? 250 bucks. Used once. (I guess this thread isn’t a good sales pitch ha ha.) some people love it. It’s more matter of personal preference.

Sticker pack came in. It looks pretty good but could use some more color. I may have a few parts of it redone, like the Dunlop and main sponsor, in their actual colors, and not black and white. But all in all, it's pretty awesome. Racing it the first time club this weekend. We'll see!

How is the woodcrafts body kit? you had to get a Stay as well? , What about headlight error/light on the dash?

Woodcraft body kit came out great. See pics. No, OEM stay is fine. No headlight error code happens when the headlight is removed.

About to wrap up the Twins season, I'm back working on this bike, with the aim of getting the WSS / MotoAmerica package on it and having it MotoA ready by the end of October. The plan is to ride it a lot this fall &winter and [hopefully] do a full season MotoA, and some club, on it 2025.

I just got a Brembo RCS 16 clutch. The OEM worked well, it's just an odd design (very long lever) and wouldn't allow my controls & cockpit to fit how I wanted.

I get all of my brake/clutch-related stuff from Kurvey Girl. She's super nice, ships fast, and includes a cool titanium bolt with each order. (Not sponsored or paid for this.)

Hopefully it fits well and is easy to install.

For now, I'm leaving the OEM left side control button switch on. When going to the Solo electronics, I think it needs to go away. They offer an aftermarket button thing, but I'm not sure if it's required or needed, as I don't think we get ride modes or traction control, etc.

On that note, I'll be ordering the electronics kit next month or so.

I can't seem to get a rear brake set up that doesn't get melted by the Spark exhaust. Maybe the Tygon just isn't heat resistant enought? I tried both styles in the pics attached. First with a longer line, connected to a reservoir, and also with the little reservoir elimination kit, that just has tygon with a plug on it. Both melted on the track. I even built a little heat shield thing, as seen in the pic, and still.,,

I got some of this Brembo black brake fluid line. Hopefully it works./

Why don't you wrap the pipe with header wrap where it passes by the brake. Or just wrap the whole rear header. The bends in the rear exhaust pipe makes it less efficient than the front exhaust so wrapping the rear helps counteract that effect by keeping the exhaust gas velocity higher which helps the scavenging.

The Brembo tubing is much sturdier then the Tygon. If you lol at a V4 they have the heat shield wrap covering lines around the exhaust pipes, cover the brake tubing with that also and you should be fine

You know what, that’s of course the perfect idea. I’m not sure why I didn’t think it, lol. Thanks.

Hopefully will help with all the under-seat heat also.

Thanks for that. I’ll definitely have a look and see what the V4 looks like.

And good to know about the tubing. I thought Tygon was supposed to be the best stuff. Thanks, again.

I’ll probably run the reservoir with the Brembo tubing and heat wrap headers.

I was able to take this bike out at circuit of the Americas last month. It ran great. But definitely feeling the limitations of the OEM suspension. For sure, the shock. I had some pretty good times but was definitely at the point where I need the upgrade.

Also, loving the auto blip downshifter. But it only lets you use it when you weren’t going to over rev it. Will installing a slipper clutch negate this somewhat, where you can slam it down a bit harder and just let it slip?

It turns out their limitations to how much heat wrap can be used in the rulebook. I’ll have to take a look. Sheesh.

Just wrap the tubing, it’s the tygon. No one racing is wrapping headers. Exhaust also need to dissipate heat

Let me give it some thought. It would be nice to not have as much heat under the seat. We’re allowed to use heat wrap, but not the entire exhaust.

Maybe reach out to SBU and see if they can source you a Suter clutch?

What are people doing about the clutch microswitch, and lack of mounting structure, on the RCS clutch? Hydraulic switch to replace it?
