thanks to all the responses its clear that SF has lower rates depending on geographical region.

I went ahead and called them and the quote was within $3 of my Geico quote, although SF offered slightly higher basic coverage and $0 Comp Ded.

I will stick with GEICO for now as I have been with them for 12 years and they have been very good to me... and will continue to shop for a better rate with better base coverage.

Excellent coverage (61 yrs) for my 2012 Tri through AAA for about $1200/yr. The wife's (47 years) Monster adds another $600. Excellent driving records for both of us.

2013 Panigale 1199 R
52 y old been riding since 16
Infraction record only so so

Full coverage 2M liability 250 ded.
$345/year
Same price as 2011 Diavel.

I'm so jealous of everyone's prices. I can't even get those price for just liability. Not sure what my driving record is, I'll have to check on that, but, it's $5200 for a year in full cover and, $1500 for liability.

i pay nearly $1500 US equivalent per year.

1199S insured for $23,000 US equiv (31k AU$). 22 years old, owned outright, with mods, no accident history or traffic infringements (that they know of ;) )

One advantage that you may or may not use, that only statefarm offers, is you're fully covered for rentals...just in case anyone rents track bikes or rents bikes while on vacations etc. you're covered with statefarm. I was shocked how far off Geico was from Statefarm in Florida. Ridiculous, but I have car insuance with Geico and motorcycle insurance with Statefarm.

Stick with Geico. I am in Cary, NC and Progressive is raping me to the tune of 183 a month for just my 1199. I am 48 with no tickets and have had my MC endorsement for 32 year and have NEVER had an accident.

Recently got a much cheaper quote from Geico. So, I will be switching in the next couple of weeks.

26
pay about $48/ month for full coverage
$1000 deductable
1 speeding ticket

What are you....16yrs old? Those rates are ridiculous!

I'm 36, and it already got multiple cars and bikes discount combined with home insurance. Make no sense at all. In four years, they could buy another new bike with that insurance money.

I was with Geico until recently, called them to ask a hypothetical question about an "instructional day at VIR to improve riding skill"..

Geico dropped me 7 days later for good.. Had been with them for 12 years

They refuse to provide recording of phone call, claim I said I wanted to race the motorcycle now..not track day in 2016 like I said..

Now paying $78 a month at Statefarm, low deductibles and no driving history/tickets, 44 yrs old
