Been looking for a while now , decided on a standard with ABS . More than enough for UK roads, means I can spend a bit on extra carbon and termi's etc . Don't need electronic suspension as I have a trusty spanner .

Means I can make the bike my own but still have a fantastic Panigale !
 
makes perfect sense, Surfingdood....what works best for you is all that really matters....the starting platform is a great one. ;)

I went with the base with the ABS. I am a weekend warrior and will do minimal track work so dont need the extras......though with the money saved I will get termis and a few pretty carbon bits.........
 
1199R....

Put a deposit on it on November, when it was launched at EICMA.
Expected delivery date, this month or at the most, next month.
 
"R"!!!!! Should take delivery in March..... hopefully sooner than later!:D
 
1199R. ETA March/April. Hoping the snow will be gone by the time it arrives. :)
 
I voted for the Panigale S a few months ago but ended up buying the Panigale S Tricolore.. I loves that bike...
 
Putting a deposit for first in line at my dealer for an R if someone backs out. They have 2 coming in and both are spoken for, however I have been told that it is not unusual to have someone back out.
 
I bought a 1199 Base w/ ABS, then bought a 1199 S Tri-colore, now I have an R on order from my dealer.

Why can't I check all boxes?

I selected the 2012 non-ABS base. Upgraded the suspension with a Penske rear shock and GP fork cartridges. The ride is sublime. I couldn't be happier :D

Man, I loved what you did with the knee grips. Are those cut or do they come like that?
 
Finally got mine home, bought the 1199 base with ABS. Spent what I saved on carbon and Termi slip ons.....the bike is lovely, just need to put some miles on it !

Ended up getting the Ducati Bike insurance which meant I get the Bike Trac and free subscription for a year....
