Did I not post a pic earlier on how I want it done? Well here it is again, won't be SL.
Lol.. why would you do this?
I get the point about trying to look more expensive etc... but the people that know Ducatis will call you a poser and the people that dont know bikes will just think it's another Ducati. The only remaining person is you and you know it's a standard grade 1199... now do you really like that paint scheme or are you just doing it because.. it makes you look richer??
Hello people!
Tell me what you think; I'm planning on wrapping my 1199 so it looks like a 1199 Superleggera. Also changing to March rims, some more carbon, remove mirrors etc. The wrapping company has the exact color, and they can do it in 3-4 days.
But could the Ducati dealer be pissed off when I show up there to buy something or for service? That I made my "standard" 1199 look like their flagship bike? Would they see it as negative publicity for the real SL?
Thanks for any input.

why would the dealer be mad a dealer in nyc painted the 899 to look like the sl.
Yeah old thread.
Turned out the wrap guy lives half a world away in northern Thailand, and wants a small fortune to come to Bangkok to do the job. So idea is scrapped for now, was looking at doing the Aruba.it WSBK wrap, but didn't find a shop that can do yet.
Basically back to square 1, riding my not so shiny all red bike... :-(
