Wrapping my 1199 to Superleggera

Hello people!
Tell me what you think; I'm planning on wrapping my 1199 so it looks like a 1199 Superleggera. Also changing to March rims, some more carbon, remove mirrors etc. The wrapping company has the exact color, and they can do it in 3-4 days.

But could the Ducati dealer be pissed off when I show up there to buy something or for service? That I made my "standard" 1199 look like their flagship bike? Would they see it as negative publicity for the real SL?

Thanks for any input.

Turned out great.. Did you have SR Designs do the work? I also like the under the headlight, black decals... really make the intake look good

That was actually Robbie Nigl (Peach Pit Racing) in Nh who painted the 899..

Ok, so this thread is eons old; OP what'd you end up doing?

Yeah old thread.
Turned out the wrap guy lives half a world away in northern Thailand, and wants a small fortune to come to Bangkok to do the job. So idea is scrapped for now, was looking at doing the Aruba.it WSBK wrap, but didn't find a shop that can do yet.
Basically back to square 1, riding my not so shiny all red bike... :-(

Is that your bike in your Avitar?

Yeah it is....got a lower semi dark screen (SR) now, looks better.

Cool, well let me ask you this then. Did you have the rims that are on it powder coated, painted or were they already that color? Im looking to do some gold rims on mine but I'd kinda like to get an exact color nailed down b4 I make a move with ether coating.

A bit hard to take new pics now, I'm on a rusty oil rig in Angola for another 3 weeks.

Here is an older one.
