Anyone got the base model yet?

Heard an S/ABS with full Termi's this weekend. It was retarded loud. I couldnt even have a conversation with someone while it was idling. It was really surprising how loud it was. If any of you fellas are looking for a S/Non-ABS there is one available one at Southbay Motorsports, San Diego on the showroom floor right now. Its funny how many people are waiting for their 1199 and there's one on the showroom floor in San Diego that's unspoken for. I'd take it if it had ABS.

Rang me last night 30/04 called me back and the bike is ready to be collected now 01/05 just sorted insurance and will be picking it up Friday :D

You lucky bugger, ordered my standard (plus ABS) last November was due end of March then up in the air, two weeks ago told it would leave factory 23rd April that hasn't happened and talking to dealer today no idea when it will even leave the factory let alone when I'll get it :(
Ten years of buying Ducati's this isn't a surprise or unusual but still getting frustrated :mad:
I was one of the first to order at the local dealer but as the S models are ready first I'm still waiting and they don't know how Ducati are allocating the bikes across the UK dealers when they do start to come through.
Guess I should stop worrying about it and just accept it will arrive when it does nothing much I can do about it!!
 
put pictures on the forum as soon as you receive the bike's guys!
i just had a phone call that mine has left as well from italy to Holland.

called into my dealer today just to ask if they had heard anymore on my base abs.... he said that
A. they should have been there by now.
B. they wernt!!
C. he should know about a week before they arrive as thats when they get invoiced for them.
D. they havnt been invoiced!!!

It just better keep on raining untill it gets here! at least i can comfort myself that its not biking weather at the min.

Thats the best way to look at things.......its just the expectancy that you could get a call any day which is the frustrating bit !
 
hi my base abs has arrived at my dealer,suffolk eng.hope to pick it up saturday,at last.
 
my bike is from leeds only one to arrive this week all models most aftermarket parts fitted so well happy roll onweekend
 
Frustrated! Arghh! Everyone's waiting for their BASE model now! The wait is driving me crazy! LOL :D

You lucky ............bet you can't wait and hope the weather improves for you by the weekend.

Fantastic to hear the base models are starting to trickle through. Heard the delay was due to headlight supplier for UK models was having an issue:rolleyes:

Hopefully won't be too long before I get the call - I don't know how many more sleepless nights I can take.

Zeker Vet!!!Die termis heb ik wel besteld maar laat ze nog ff open staan want zoals ik overal lees zijn de stnd uitlaten erg hard dus wacht ik nog ff....liggen er snel genoeg onder!!

Fotos stuur ik je gelijk door als k ze heb...

En nee woon niet id buurt Adam,maar bij Tiel.....maar ach wat is een half uurtje op mn nieuwe duccie!??

Trouwens toch lekker gewoon nederlands op zo1n forum..;-))
