At least that bike got an actual muffler, and probably a lot cheaper too than our straight pipe...
There is nothing ugly about this
AR gets in every thread these days....
Had the AR rear sets on my RSV4 (shown above)....they were very well made, the craftsmanship seemed quite good.

oal: so in retrospect, which do you enjoy riding more, performance notwithstanding?
Pulled the trigger on the RSV4. Black with 700 miles, rearsets, Forged Alum wheels from the Factory model, Woodcraft clipons, mirror blanks with front run light turn signal conversion, Akropovic slip-on, tail tidy with integrated signals, shorai battery, ohlins damper. Pick up tomorrow afternoon. Will relay impressions after a day or two riding.
was looking at the 2013 rsv4 and sorely tempted to trade the pani on it, had an 11 rsv4 which was superb.
the 2013 Factory is the move! love the wheels and if you remove the dopey mirrors and clean up the tail it looks fantastic.
the tail on the Ape is actually my favorite of all modern sportbikes.
evotech makes a great tail tidy which I had on my 11 gets rid of the stinger on the back.
I looked at a yellow one and got to say, oh my! BUT if I keep the pani, then I can buy an mv agusta 800 brute, decisions, decisions....
The Yellow Non-Factory is saweet....

i prefer integrated tail and velcroing the plate vertically down the back.
Velcro??? Gotta be a better way?? Surely
velcro=light, super strong (never had a plate fall off in years of riding), and for nyc a must -- i take my plate off when i park on street.
