I got the pictures of my Vircos 372 suit finished.

I like it but wish I had not let them talk me into doing the brighter blue for the Kevlar bits between and down the back of the legs, and under the arms etc. the Dark leather bits look black in the pic but are actually a very dark blue called Black Iris.

However I love their liberal use of the Kevlar, especially behind the neck above the hump, I feel like this suit in Kangaroo with all that Kevlar is going to move better than my Cowhide Dianese.

I think it looks good 👍

Okay so pro-tip for those ordering track suites in the US.

Order your airbag separately and buy it domestically.

My VIRCOS 372 is held up at Customs because apparently the ATF needs to inspect it because it has a self inflating airbag built into the suit. Meaning somebody is opening my package, pulling apart the suit, and possibly messing with sensitive electronics and connections etc.

Kind of annoying.

That blows. Guess I should expect the same.

Because airbags are usually stuffed with single malts, cubans and 9mm pistols

Geezus these guys are acting like I’m importing HazMat materials lol

What the hell is an HS Number haha

It's the same thing here if I import something and the sender perhaps has not supplied the relevant data for the receiving country. At least you have the rules in English...

yes I would want all the components supplied by the same place as a given which I saw. So does no one do this in the land of the free?

Plus I prefer an integral air bag system having done the separate items. It makes the putting it on and taking it off so much easier.....when you are sweaty..

Well the A* is sort of integral - it's fitted into the suit and stays there. It's very easy to take on and off as it stays with the suit.

There's no logical reason for needing the airbag to be supplied by the people who make the suit. Anyone can take the airbag out of the box and zip and velcro it in place...

and it looks like it doesn't come with any issues too......

Isn't A stars American?

Italian.

I don't understand the first line? The Race vest has been solid for ages - it's the 10 I wouldn't touch with a bargepole (based on my experience with it).

What's the issues with 10 that you are experiencing (besides the totally crap software, but that's shared across the board)?
