Hi all,
This is my third bike and first Ducati. What other tires you guys recommend for street rides? I am not into speed but rather like to lean on the highway ramps. My right is to the edge but the left is still half inches off. I low sided once on the left lean. Thanks.

As far as I know, the 1199 got best tires. I usually don't warm up much and the supercorsa are awesome.

Holla at me bro, I'm in PG county and U from VN? I am

The left side got chain grease, so I always made sure of temp and slowly on the left leans. Until the tire fully warm and scrubbed.

Need to buy some tires for the STREET (no track on Oahu) and looking at the Rosso Corsa for a little better wear and hopefully better wet-weather grip. Price-wise they seem to be on-par with the Q3s with the advantage of being the same size as the stock tires, so no height adjustment required.

Thoughts?

OK ..... I am new on this forum and am a new Ducati owner. I have purchase a beautiful 2014 Panigale 1199 S ... dark .... I live in Wyoming and the roads can be fun... but at times there can be some water or even ice ( God forbid the ice ) I will avoid that like the plague ! ....... I really want to take care of this bike and ride it as they engineered it , but the stock tires just don't look like the greatest in wet conditions? Here's my question ..... I can find two Pirelli tires that are sized 200x55x17 the stock DIABLO SUPERCORSA SP V2 ..... and the DIABLO ROSSO CORSA ....... which one would someone with a lot of road experience recommend ?? I have read and think I understand most of the bikes program modes and will definitely take it slow and safe to get the feel of it .... I just want to the best tire for the road ........... my apologies if it seems I have just beat a dead horse >>>>>G.

I have echo Steveo the Metzeler M7RR's are the best street/.... weather streetbike tire ever made IMHO.. But if you want to stay pirelli use the rosso corsa's.. But I've not had an issue with the SP's in the wet even in down pours.

I put over 54,000 miles on my BMW S1000RR on Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas and have nothing but good things to say about them; I have put over 9,000 miles on the same tire on my 1299S and again, brilliant tire for my daily commute and weekend rampant scratching.

I might try the Metzeler M7RR next time, just to see how it does, but you just can't go wrong with the Diablo Rosso Corsa.

I have run the SP's in the wet and they are SCARY bad when they hit metal grates and paint in the wet. The absolute worst tire I have EVER experienced during my wet commutes. Maybe they work well on wet roads without paint, metal, manhole covers etc (i.e. at the track), but my experiences in the wet have all been downright terrifying with them.

Bear in mind, I ride to work every day on my 1299S and have to deal with some torrential rain, bad road conditions etc...
