Don't by the Ferrari then complain about service costs & tires.
I'm sick of hearing it. If cost is an issue, then buy 1 of the many
other excellent sportbikes

I have run the SP's in the wet and they are SCARY bad when they hit metal grates and paint in the wet. The absolute worst tire I have EVER experienced during my wet commutes. Maybe they work well on wet roads without paint, metal, manhole covers etc (i.e. at the track), but my experiences in the wet have all been downright terrifying with them.

Interesting. I can understand how the Rossa Corsas would be better in wet due to the tread being designed to channel more water at a lean. But my understanding is that the SP's are constructed of a soft mono compound vs the Rossa which has the same soft compound at the shoulders, but a harder one in the middle. So in a straight line I would have thought the SP would be just as good if not better?

Thank you to all ....... I'll do the research and make a decision a little later in the spring .......

Price is not my issue ....... I appreciate your stance and I agree, I just don't want to have my Ferrari slide out from under me when I hit a turn with a stream of water channeling across :/

Another option is the Bridgestone S20 EVO. Just grabbed a set for the Spring to replace the toasted RS10's on my 1199 now. They come in a 200/55, have plenty of grip for the street and are considerably better than the Supercorsas in the wet. I ran a set of the 1st gen S20's on it before with a 195/55 rear; they worked well aside from the minor TC issues caused by the 195 tire. With the compound and casing changes to the EVO's, I expect them to be a great street tire.

There was a big comparison from "žmopedreifen" of all new sport tires (Bridgestone S21, Conti Sport Attack 3, Pirelli Rosso 3) and the Metzeler m7rr . The result: You can buy what you want. They are all on an excellent level, very high grip and better durability than ever. I tried last year the Supercorsa SP, the Conti Sport Attack lI and the M7RR on the street, the SC 1 & 2 and the Dunlop KR on the track. There was no bad tire, except the Supercorsa SP while it was raining (but with the best agility and grip when it"˜s dry). On the street you will be happy with all of the new versions of sport tires. No need for hypersport models like the Supercorsa SP on the street. I will give the Conti CSA lll a try due to experimental curiosity and because l like that this tire don't need to be run in.
