this forum is blessed to have such an amazing braintrust of engineering and business acumen.
From somebody who actually understands engineering I have an interest in valvetrain dynamics. Also I find the change in valvetrain metallurgy interesting.Let's not bring reason and logic into this.
From the guy who thinks a V2 has "AI."
In all humility (ok not really) I suspect if Ducati paid me enough and rented me a villa in Italy I'd come and show them how to reduce their quality costs (my lack of ability to speak/understand Italian might be problematic). The issue with most management in plenty of companies is lack of breadth of skillset. And those with the narrowest skill sets always seem to have the least to do and consequently are always the worse political actors internally. The need to constantly raise prices to maintain your margins is sloppy management. Let the derision begin but I have run manufacturing/Operations in multiple tech companies (and brought two failing ones back to profitability).this forum is blessed to have such an amazing braintrust of engineering and business acumen.
what is not being brought up in our forum analysis is that the super bike market is diminishing drastically.
Hey guys just re-introducing ourselves to the forums. We've been here since 2014 and actively tuning 1199/1299/V4/V2/Multi's/Diavels/Hypers and more across the product lineup. We do EU4 and EU5 ECU's globally with our handheld tuner. We do all our in house development on the East coast and West coast of the US and independently verify the tuning for varying levels of mods, fuels, racing types and more.
In addition to our development and tuning we have a growing youtube channel which we do tech tips, review videos, install help, dyno videos and more. This Superleggera vs V4R dyno video below highlights some of the content you can find.
Check out BT-Moto.com for our full product lineup and tuning solutions.
Here to assist in any tuning related questions you may have!
We've reached out to the forum for official vendor status and waiting to hear back.
Not sure if you not how design works, but there is some in charge that leads directionally. Then there are many people that are on the design team that work under the boss and work on projects.
No one cares about valve lift, they care about how it feels.
how much is he paying you? You can tell us. We are all friends here
If you prefer the Termi, why not use their included tune?
The Termi is going to come with the tune anyway. You may as well try it and see how it feels and what it dynos at (if you have access to one). After speaking with a couple of fairly knowledgable guys (from different shops) guys that had experience with both, they both felt that the Termi maps didn't open up the bike as much. Maybe this was a bigger deal before '23. I'm actually finding it a bit hard to get solid data on the subject.
Yep. I thought about what you said last night and that's what I came up with too. I was trying to solve a problem that might not even exist. I'll feel better about starting out that way too. The shop can just install it all and I won't have to get involved. 90% chance it'll be smooth and really rip right out of the box.The Termi is going to come with the tune anyway.
