this forum is blessed to have such an amazing braintrust of engineering and business acumen.
In all humility (ok not really) I suspect if Ducati paid me enough and rented me a villa in Italy I'd come and show them how to reduce their quality costs (my lack of ability to speak/understand Italian might be problematic). The issue with most management in plenty of companies is lack of breadth of skillset. And those with the narrowest skill sets always seem to have the least to do and consequently are always the worse political actors internally. The need to constantly raise prices to maintain your margins is sloppy management. Let the derision begin but I have run manufacturing/Operations in multiple tech companies (and brought two failing ones back to profitability).

Here's a nugget of insight - the Italians have zero interest in having anyone from outside of Italy contributing to their process.

Also what is not being brought up in our forum analysis is that the super bike market is diminishing drastically.

I don’t know if it’s been confirmed yet, but I read a rumor that there will be a new V2 platform in 2025. I’m more excited about that market segment than the super bike line.

Hey guys just re-introducing ourselves to the forums. We've been here since 2014 and actively tuning 1199/1299/V4/V2/Multi's/Diavels/Hypers and more across the product lineup. We do EU4 and EU5 ECU's globally with our handheld tuner. We do all our in house development on the East coast and West coast of the US and independently verify the tuning for varying levels of mods, fuels, racing types and more.

In addition to our development and tuning we have a growing youtube channel which we do tech tips, review videos, install help, dyno videos and more. This Superleggera vs V4R dyno video below highlights some of the content you can find.

Check out BT-Moto.com for our full product lineup and tuning solutions.

Here to assist in any tuning related questions you may have!

We've reached out to the forum for official vendor status and waiting to hear back.

How much $$ and what gains are expected? Also how do you tune without a dyno? 2012 1199s Panigale.

Not sure if you not how design works, but there is some in charge that leads directionally. Then there are many people that are on the design team that work under the boss and work on projects.

Karl you can tell Claudio that I’d be happy to be a brand ambassador for the 25 v4 Panigale, absolutely love it, the looks, the tech, the ergos etc etc!!!

I know a couple guys that are very happy with Brentune on their V4s, and it can never hurt to have more simple and effective solutions available, so I hope they do well. I'm considering them for a tune on a SFV4S with either a stage2/slip-on or full Termis.

I'd like to hear from any other V4 guys that got a Brentune.

how much is he paying you? You can tell us. We are all friends here

What solution do you suggest? I'd rather not get the Akra and the Arrows are just so-so for me. I prefer the Termis. Or maybe the mapping isn't as important anymore, and any will do, since the updates after '23?

If you prefer the Termi, why not use their included tune?

After speaking with a couple of fairly knowledgable guys (from different shops) guys that had experience with both, they both felt that the Termi maps didn't open up the bike as much. Maybe this was a bigger deal before '23. I'm actually finding it a bit hard to get solid data on the subject.

what does "open up the bike" mean? i had akras before my '20 b/c the fueling kind of sucked. on '20 it was great stock and I didn't bother w it or subsequent bikes. If i was chasing half seconds like some of these guys I would get an akra... not sure why they don't make your cut

The Termi is going to come with the tune anyway. You may as well try it and see how it feels and what it dynos at (if you have access to one).

Yep. I thought about what you said last night and that's what I came up with too. I was trying to solve a problem that might not even exist. I'll feel better about starting out that way too. The shop can just install it all and I won't have to get involved. 90% chance it'll be smooth and really rip right out of the box.
