Peter Lieb Carbon Fiber Parts arrived 2 days early :D, although it may take another 2 months before I install all of them. I don't want to take out the fairing and gas tank too many times, so I need to wait until many other parts arrived from Europe:

I am also waiting for Peter Lieb to produce the Carbon Exhaust Cover for the stock exhaust and the sprocket cover.

The quality of this carbon fiber is the best I have ever seen, I think even better than the Ducati Performance !!!
Even the way Peter package it's product and the whole layer of bubble wrap, and the way he arrange them inside the shipping cartoon show attention to details!
This explain why it took longer for him to issue a new product because he is making sure everything is perfect.

The one thing I dont like about their frame covers is they leave a hole where the bolt is allowing you to see the silver frame. To me it looks more unfinished and more like a carbon cover was thrown over the fame than covers that dont have the hole.

Peter Lieb Carbon

buddy, looking great! You need a glass display case with lights inside, next to your 2 wheel work of art. It’ll be a beautiful way to display all the fresh new pieces and be a nice way to remember what you have to look forward to. It’ll also help keep these components dust free in the meantime

Hi ArcticWhite,
Thanks for the information, luckily for me, my bike version already came with the black frame, plus I already purchased this MotoCorse bolt cover (not arrived yet) to cover it:
(again since my frame is black, it won't even show that "silver corona" ring around the holes.

Thanks for the idea DucatiKev, but I still want to sit on my bike from time to time (pretending I am riding it) :p so a glass case is not possible.

By the way, I also ordered this Gold Engine Bracket from Motocorse (again not arrived yet maybe still at least 1.5 months away):

Curious why you got the Brembo T-Drive when the Bike came with Brembo rotors that are the same diameter and look relatively the same (steel disc, black carrier)

Hi endodoc,

I have 3 honest reasons:
a. Just so I can brag to myself (and others) that I have a T-Drive rotors eventhough most likely I will never ride this bike, let alone be using it's braking potential :p
b. That 8 pieces T-Drive mounting mechanism looks sexier than the 6 pieces stock circle mounting, plus the T-Drive mounting silver color looks better and last the RED Brembo Logo is a great eye-candy
c. A carbon rotor, cost so much more (beyond my budget) and I don't think they looks as sexy as a cross drilled steel (shiny) rotor

T-Drive vs. Sicom carbon rotor vs. my current stock rotor

Matches the magnesium on your bike and your neighbor doesn’t have them

I am sure the TK and the Braketech are both very nice rotors for (performance and looks), but they do not have the "brand" recognition of a Brembo...

plus I have a long history with Brembo,
In 1993 my second car while studying in the US was the 1993 Lexus GS300, and I am the first person (maybe the only one) that install a custom front Brembo braking system (F40 Caliper with Cross Drilled Rotor) on a Lexus GS300 in 1993. This is Pre Race-Technologies so I purchase from Steve Millen (through a local shop called Custom Creation in San Gabriel Valley area). Lexus of North America even take a look at my car, thinking to offer similar options to increase their brand awareness as performance model, after all Lexus GS300 is Toyota Aristo in Japan with the Supra 3 liter twin turbo engine and as an answer to the BMW M5/Mercedes E500.
This was way back when nobody really care about upgrading their brake for their car.. so I have "ahem" Brembo Brand Loyalty :p

and I also have another project involving custom Brembo for my current car (a Honda Fit) which I posted here:
My Front Brembo Gran Turismo 6 Piston Type III Rotor - Unofficial Honda FIT Forums

So I am "voluntarily stuck" with Brembo :D

All great looking rotors. I wish the braketech CMC weren’t so hard to get. My second choice would be Tdrives.

HK, I scored the CMCs a few months ago. Almost new condition. I got a set of the carbon Ferodo pads from Jeff. Put them on the 1299. They stop well but not as good as the steel setup. I think they plus the pads would be great on the track but I’m not getting enough heat into the system to warrant keeping them on the street. I just pulled them yesterday and put the TKs on with a new set of Z04s. Rode it this AM for a break in. Insane braking. Going to put the CMCs on the track bike

Oh guess I should add. For me, the front end with the CMCs felt almost too light. There wasn’t that predictable effort on turn in which just felt off. I’m sure you compensate for that with time and I think the track at least for me is the place to do that.

Check Facebook and notice Melotti just posted: Melotti Racing

I can't wait for Tuesday when DHL suppose to deliver what Melotti Racing describe as the "Top Fork Bridge":

About 6 months ago, when I start seriously consider buying a Ducati again, I notice many owner replace their Upper Triple Clamp to what they call "GP style"...
However, I never like any of the offering available until I saw the Melotti Racing one... But I don't want to replace mine since mine came with the "Serial Number",
until I notice that Melotti was accepting custom design from some Racing Team. So, I contacted Melotti Racing directly and this is the result :D
Custom Laser Marking of 25 Anniversario 916 and Serial Number 210/500 just like on my original upper triple clamp plus the "Number 1" racing number logo just like on the fairing (and on my t-shirt):p

So far, of all the parts / accessories that I already purchased for my bike, I think I love this one the most ;)

Wow. That is really nice. Super Super Cool. The aspect I am most interested in is the weight. The fact that it is pretty is a benefit too. Would be nice to have "Bradp51" where you have the serial number of your bike. Thanks for posting.

Hi Bradp51,
Thanks for your kind compliment, I really appreciate it.
Yes, for sure you can have "Bradp51" in ANY FONT and STYLE that you want (you just have to provide sample font as guidance). (and there is a small and fair extra charge for this customized laser marking)
Just email, Melotti racing and Diego Melotti himself will assist you personally. He is very nice and accommodating.
Please just be patient with his response, sometimes it took a few days before he can respond back (even when you are ready to pay), because he is busy with supplying some racing teams.

Note: those 3 bolts that came with this upper triple clamp are already TITANIUM bolts from Pro-Bolts !!! nice, right?

from the website:
To completion of this Fork top bridge purely racing, can’t miss Pro-Bolt titanium screws to lock forks and headstock nut.

Alpina,
Thanks. I had a quick look at their site. They have one for 1199. Nice that it comes with Pro Bolt. I already have some Proti ones I have not fitted yet. I would probably use those if they fit to keep the bolts the same. BTW I think a good choice the T Drives. The super sport version with the gold carrier looks very nice too. Your new Lieb CF looks very good too. I like the replicated font on one of the pieces. Nice touch.

What's that top triple cost for the 1199 n how much more for the laser marking?

Hi BradP51, Thanks again, I am also working on a bit more "customizing" or "differentiating" on some of those Carbon panel from Peter Lieb, please stay tune :)

From this link for the 1199 version, it looks like the same price at 348 Euro.
PIASTRA DI STERZO per 899-959-1199-1299 Panigale - Melotti Racing
The custom laser marking add only 50 Euro, and initially, I only ask for the word "Panigale V4 916 25 Anniversario" and the No. 210/500 when Diego quote me 50 Euro.
Later I ask him to add the Logo "1" along with the trapezoid border and offer him to pay more, and he refused and told me the price still 50 Euro for everything, that is how nice and good customer service Diego provided.
I almost felt guilty...
His shipping cost was very reasonable too, and I thought, oh this is another post office long wait forever kind of post, turn out it's handled fully by DHL. I can't wait for Tuesday now:D

I try to link the picture of the 1199 version here, but it failed to load, you need to visit his website to see the pictures.

I have experience having t drive

My z04 brake pads are just so much better modulation on this then stock rotor.

Most importantly. Heat dissipation

Good choice sir!!!
