this is beautiful!!!
Thanks TsaiCo :D

Glad I’m not the only Audiofool that also enjoys Motorcycles :). Audio is my winter hobby, and the bikes, cars, and boat are the summer time fun.
Hell yeah, all the fun stuff!
Well, I was planning (and budgeting) to do more home audio upgrade, but looks like it will be postponed indefinitely until I am done with this Ducati project, glad to find others with same hobbi(es) :D

I have more parts arrived this past few days:
Ducati official, Rain Cover for the seat, in my specific case, it is NOT to protect from rain but
so I can cover my Ducati V4 Speciale seat (on order) when I am not looking at it, I worry the "cooking oil vapor" raining from my wife's kitchen beside my living room will "coat" it too much :p

AEM Factory D-SEI V4 Sprocket Carrier in Titanium Color, very beautiful, and right picture when I compare it with the current original Sprocket Carrier.
I think this would be a good color combo with my EK 3D Gold Chain, Sitta Quick Changer and Sprocket, AEM Factory Titanium Studs (with Champagne gold rear aluminum housing), ProTi gold sprocket nut and AELLA Titanium Axle nut.
Everything is already arrived except Sitta Quick Changer and Sprocket and ProTi gold sprocket nut... hopefully they will arrive in the next few weeks.

Ducati special tool to remove the right hand starter/kill starter switch assy:

The anodize black aluminum spacer also arrived and fit perfectly for the BDS switch and Rizoma mirror adapter (to hold the brake fluid reservoir) combo below:
IMG_7413.JPG

Buy some Duplicolor paint that supposedly very close to real red anodized color. Hopefully I can paint one ring of my Rizoma Clutch Lever Protector to match the Ducati by Rizoma Brake Lever Protector which have a red anodized ring.
If somehow I fail to do a good job, then I will see if I can get it anodized locally (real anodizing) :p

Oh, I also place an order for some more parts, please note the pictures below is stock picture from manufacturer and not mine, just for illustration purposes:

AELLA radiator and oil cooler protector in Silver color,... I was heavily considering buying in black color, but the original 916 have a silver radiator so even though black might look sharper, but this time "heritage" wins :p

I directly contacted CNC Racing in Italy asking about the Titanium Version of their Steering Stem Nut for Panigale V4 since they only have the version for the 1299 (shorter).
CNC Racing told me they are available to order but it will take a few weeks, then they listed the picture on their website. I like it,
and this will be a match made in heaven for my Melotti upper triple clamp, so I place an order right away :D
The part# for this Titanium version is GH457X
Ring nut Ducati Panigale V4 - Titanium

Also, I can resist this beautiful Zeta Racing Front TITANIUM Axle in Gold Finish, so I order it, unfortunately, Zeta Racing factory is still close so this might take 2 months before arrive:

Last, I hate to see my rear Rizoma Corsa Turn Signal hyper flashing and I don't want to use resistor so this give me an excuse to order this Rizoma Veloce L Sport mirror (in Silver/Aluminum Color) that I also like a lot.
I know a front mirror with turn signal will make my bike less "racy or sporty", however, it also make my bike look more,... hmmm what is the right word... more natural? anyway, I just like it :p
beside, like on the picture below, my hand grip will also be Rizoma like in this picture with aluminum color so this will match :D

veloce-l-sport1-800x800.jpg

I also just ordered (almost all) remaining ProTi Titanium bolt kit available for my bike, that I have not buy. The kits that I did not want to buy are the gas tank kit since the Ducati by Rizoma gas cap use a very small bolts that is already beautiful,
and the 4 frame bolts because I plan to use combination of Motocorse bolts and 4Evo titanium bolts. (The ProTi bolts for frame do not look nice). I also still have to buy a few more ProTi bolts in custom length for the front RCS MC projects but I need to wait until the RCS arrive to know the exact length needed for the bolts and the kit for the upcoming Carbon Fiber exhaust cover because I don't know the size needed yet.

Ok, that is the update for today,... more parts should arrived next week...

oh, almost forget,
I also ordered Bonamici Racing Brake and Clutch Lever specific for RCS CORSA CORTA (slightly different then the RCS), and the picture below is for the RCS version since Bonamici Racing does not have the picture for the CORSA CORTA version yet.
This will take 1 month because I have some "customization" done to it at Bonamici factory :D

As you know I have been following your thread closely as I have exactly the same bike as you. It’s amazing how we think the same. I will post pictures of my bike so you can see what I have done too. Thanks to you I have added the numbers to the rear of the bike and I have ordered the yoke from Diego. Number 408. I have also ordered a new seat with the foggy eyes embroidered onto it and have purchased the sitta quick change rear sprocket. I have also purchased an additional flange from Ducati as my plan was to get the flange electropolished or anodised in champagne gold rather than buy an aftermarket one. The original one in my opinion has a nice clean shape but the colour is horrible. Just so you know the rear pinch bolts have a thread pitch of 1.5 not 1.25 as stated in the manual and on websites. As you are changing Bolts my I suggest you buy a pitch gauge to check you don’t put the wrong bolt in when replacing existing bolts. Keep up the good work!

Hi Raul1976,
Thanks so much for your kind words, I appreciate it. I guess we have a lot of similarities in taste:D
I already purchased the rear axle clamp Titanium bolt kit from ProTi (and already arrived at my home), I just haven't installed it though... hopefully ProTi did not make mistake, Thanks for the tips, I will be careful when installing the rear axle clamp (pinch bolts).
I can't wait to see your new seat and yes, please kindly post the pictures of your bike, I would love to see it.
By the way, which part that you describe as "flange"? can you please explain more? do you mean the sprocket carrier? or maybe the steering stem nut?

So I know that there is come confusion about the definitions but I understand the carrier is the part that you directly attach to the sprocket ( the inner part) this is the inner part of your sitta sprocket which quick releases to outer sprocket. The flange is the part that that is on the outside that you bolt to the carrier and then your put the big nut to hold in place. Some people call the flange the carrier in error. That’s my understanding. Thanks

people think the rear pinch bolt is a standard 1.25 pitch but on our bikes it has a 1.5 pitch. You can buy a pitch gauge very cheaply on amazon.

I purchased the oversuspension and it attaches to rear hub via the pinch bolts but the kit does not come with bolts. I mistakenly bought m10 x 1.25 bolts in 60mm length which was incorrect. There is a variety of pitch sizes on our bikes.

From some blurry YouTube video, I was originally thinking of buying the Steering Stem Nut from Superleggera V4 which I am guessing must be made of Titanium.
But the color is not that good, so I decided to buy the CNC racing one.
Today, I finally find a clear picture of it, which confirm my initial observation that the color of the steering stem nut from Superleggera V4 is not a good match for an aluminum finish upper triple clamp (plus the surface/finish looks rough),
glad I choose the CNC racing Titanium one...
now, only if I can figure a way to erase the lasermarked CNC racing logo (or even better replace it with DUCATI Corse lasermarked ) but keeping the "Titanium" wording on it, that would make it perfect, like it came from Ducati :p
hmmm.... I think I should be able to erase the lasermarking... got to do more research

Superleggera 3.jpg

However, it looks like the Superleggera standard (type approved for road use exhaust) will be the same as my bike, at least this is what they used on the pre-production unit for test track final check at Nardo:

By the way, is anyone here have early access to Superleggera V4 Spare Parts Catalog?
If yes, please kindly forward it to me. I have some parts that I am thinking of buying.

I have a Superleggera Accessories catalog but I can't forward it. They will make it public in the next two weeks or so.

Hi Sherpa23,
Actually, what I really want is not an accessories, but the original Superleggera Tank/Battery Cover.
I suspect it is made of carbon fiber the same as Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber Tank Cover Part# 96981051A but Painted RED
From these pictures, you can see they both have the same style 3 slits vent 1589651944134.jpeg1589652563819.jpeg

ducati-v4-superleggera-2020-danh-gia-xe-motosaigon-15.jpg

This way, I can just buy it, put the original 916 Anniversario sticker like on mine (and clear coated it) but it will looks better because it have the 3 slits, plus I know in my heart that it is Carbon Fiber :p
Otherwise, I will have to buy the Ducati Performance Carbon Fiber, PAINTED it RED first then add sticker/clear coat... but it will not be Ducati Factory RED Paint so if you have the part number please kindly let me know.
Thanks

You should just buy the carbon part and paint it.

The V4SL is going to be a different red - and not only a different red but several different reds.

I have been working with Ducati on some special requests for mine and the paint has to be factored into it. Many people may know this but the paint is just one of several bits that may look normal on the surface but is far from normal when you look closely.

If you buy it expecting it to be the same as yours, I’m afraid you will be disappointed.

Also, spare parts won’t be available for some time. They need them to build the bikes.

Thank You for the information Sherpa23, I never knew the Superleggera V4 will have different shade of Red. Good to know.

This weekend is going to be a "sticker" weekend for me :D
First I installed the Mugello Circuit outline sticker. I purchase this sticker on eBay, however the seller mistakenly sent me the larger size sticker, so I ask for replacement, and the seller promptly sent me the replacement, only to make the same mistake and sent the large size again, finally the third time is the charm :D So now, I have 6 large extra sticker because I ordered 3 pieces of stickers. (only 1 small size left because I install 2 small sticker today).
IMG_7499.JPG

I carefully mock up the best location and then mark it with painter tape:
IMG_7493.JPG

Installed, and they looks much nicer in person, the contrast between the black paint on the fairing and the gold sticker is just right :D
IMG_7502.JPGIMG_7500.JPG

and now continue to the windshield... Ordered name sticker from bicistickers (in Eastern Europe) using my 2 sons name (not their legal name but their baby name that me and my wife use to call them at home).
Left side for my oldest son, Right side for my younger son :D
This sticker took almost 2 months to arrive but they are very nice quality. Choose light gold color with Italian Flag.
I use the smaller sticker and due to their small size, they are very hard to install properly... so I waste 2 stickers before I finally got it right.

Installed:

Oh, I almost forgot, I am going to have my painter working on Satin Matte Clear Coat on top of the Akrapovic Sticker for the Lieb Lower Tank Protector. I will ship it to my painter on Monday.
If the result is good, then I will do it on 6 more carbon fiber pieces. Good meaning the color of the sticker and carbon fiber remain nice after several layer of clear coat so the sticker will be buried and look like the carbon part came with sticker from the beginning (ala Ducati Performance)

Love the details.

Thanks HKMP7,
But my bike will never be as "Properly Detailed" as your bike, unless I start learning on how to details my bike from a Pro Detailer like you :D
Even then, I will still just an "amateur" detailer :p

I’ll help you both
We will have a zoom detail meeting lol

Now I am really intrigued :D, seriously...

This past hours, I was reviewing this YouTube video:

At 4:03, the detailer used what I believe is a BigFoot Nano iBrid HR81ML (Long Neck): iBrid Nano - RUPES USA to polish the tank,
but at 4:16 he switch to Flex polisher with extension (can't identify the model).
I believe this is due to the position of the surface to be polish but I could be wrong...

Life is a never ending learning session :)

Meanwhile I’m over here with the goo gone bottle removing adhesive from all the stickers i just removed
Just took delivery of a 2020 PV4 and the paint wasn’t cared for by the dealer. They probably wiped it off with a greasy rag b4 bringing it here

Wish @HKMP7 lived down the street
