Each to their own, he did what he wanted with his bike, both in terms of use and modification.
It's disappointing that a forum such as this, (which presumably is for sharing ideas and problems about our bikes) descended to the lowest common denominator.
I'm sure some people would've benefitted from the OPs choices, and it wouldn't have been for others.
But, like five year old boys playing with their toy cars in the dirt, it ended up in disruption to nobodies benefit.

Ha, ok thanks for the advice Pete and the great content you bring. You’re a huge asset to the community. My bad. The content you have contributed is truly spectacular. I looked at you posts (all three of them) I am sure there are a plethora of individuals that would be absolutely lost without the depth of knowledge and information you have shared. This place would be a complete .... show if not for the powerful content and direction you provide. If you would post more often, I'm sure I could pick up some valuable information and perhaps using your personal assessment, I can work on those character flaws. As far as the moderator goes, "hey Phl, do you have someone who can kick your ... or are you going to kick your own ...?" If your going to do it yourself, you have to post it. I almost blew out a knee trying that. That's quality programming right there. So yes again thanks Pete for pointing all that out and again, for the outstanding content and contribution.
