Just a heads up: They’re a kind of neoprene-like material, so quite soft.

Do you think it being neoprene is good or bad?
I think the other shape they offer is pretty interesting too.

Need to do any gymnastics to get it to fit?Btw, finally test fitted mine and the holes lined up perfectly. Didn’t have to force anything into place. On the contrary it was a little loose in front, so I’ll add some rubber pads under the base plate to take up the slack.
Bp this is the way, wish I would have found it BEFORE the VultureBike setup lol
Now you tell me ............. LOL. I got the tank cover with the brushed aluminium finish, which I really like. So much so that if I'd do the Monkey Grip I'd strip the paint on the tank and give it a brushed finish.
That looks decent being all black and a red logo. It solves a protection problem to in that everything on the tank that you'd be in contact with is black rubber.
I guess the only speculative grip I'd have is that its held on with tape. IIRC, I think their instructions said it can be installed with silicone, which if I liked it, I would do.
Pulling the pin on this project. Too much work. Spacers push the bracket forward and it doesn't clear the tank. Seat is for sale.
$250 shipped and it's yours. $100 off because you'll have to ovalize the holes
Considering they refunded you the entire purchase amount, and you consider the product defective, the decent thing to do is sell it for the cost of shipping.
