Heat issues, addressed today by Ducati!

Heat here in the Philippines is in the 90's....so we definitle have the heat issues on our Panigales. Cant wait for Ducati to rectify this problem by sending the updated/improved heatshield.

I just wear leathers always or at times Kevlar pants...heat is tolerable...but still annoying... Never had these heating issues on my previous bikes.

Once this is rectified, then my Panigale will be perfect!

C'mon Ducati...send us the upgraded heatshield already!!!!!! start with the warmer countries!!!

Has anyone seen the 'upgrade' yet - I'm told it's pretty fugly. I have noticed the heat but it's never been unbearable, doubt I'll bother.

I think someone asked a while back if it was just the US that was getting the upgrade, my understanding is all countries will receive it.

I'm curious of what the cover for the full termi system would look like, since the old one is carbon, hmmm.

I hope they let you keep the old piece, cause I'm not so sure I like the looks of that!

I think there is more going on there than just a cover. Look at the side of the head and the head cover. It looks like everything is black where those are normally magnesium/aluminum. Unless the cover also covers the top and side of the head?

EDIT - now that I look at it side by side with a standard Pani I think it is a cover for the head as well. Looks like it fits over the head cover and covers the bolts, etc. with the black cover.

Hopefully we can take the engine cover and leave off the exhaust heat shield cause its really ugly!

Again, waiting for Termi pics... I doubt they will throw something garish like that on it... I hope.

Yes the head covers are part of the kit made from flame proof material

Don't be too sure, reckon the heat shield will be optional but standard for all - be interesting to see anyway ;)
