Why is the Rapidbike usb cable SO EXPENSIVE?

Lookslike a normal usb cable with 4 wire/pin connector on the end??

I don't know why , Dimsport Italy sets the prices and we follow the guide lines ... If you are in UK, I don't think there is a RapidBike distributor/dealer over there so you can ask Dimsport directly Contacts | Dimsport
Your system didn't come with one ?

I bought it CHEAP, From ebay seller, just listed it as is and no usb cable of cd with the program on it (now DL from that link(Thankyou))

I just wondered if was some sort of magic box inside the usb plug end to explain why Dimsport charge so much for it or if was just a common usb cable with correct plug on one end of it?

YTURAN if I buy a full exhaust with no catalytic converter I am aware I need a map made for my bike, my question is will your Evo Rapid Bike module negate the need for a new map being made?

I'm not sure what map you have now, but Yaman can send you a map for the full exhaust and it will take less time to autotune. Give him a call at 9am when the shop opens.

Yes, whatever you do with the bike, RB will adapt, even if you don't have the correct base map in the case of having RB EVO on your bike. However if you have RB Racing module, each specific base map comes with specific ignition mapping as well and there are some differences between the maps where RB does not adjust as it does with fueling part of the system.

I just ordered mine.. I opted for the racing Module and also order the MWR WSBK air filter.

If that goes well. I will look into the Moto Corse Ti exhaust manifold..

This might be a slightly premature question, but as the 1299 har Quickshift up and down shifting and it doesn't seem like Ducati will be offering any "upgrade" kits for the 1199. Do you know if Rapidbike has any plans on adding the option to add up and down shifting to the 1199 via their quickshifter kit and the EVO/Racing modules?

As soon as the production bikes roll out and they get a hold of one, I am sure they will study how the system works and integrate it with the current system, since RB QS can be programmed to work as push or pull (but not both at the same time) .

We can't wait either :rolleyes:

YTURAN, do you happen to know if the RB system is affected by AIS Smog Block Off Plates? I would think these block off plates are going to change the nominal condition of the exhaust gas, but I'm not quite sure in what manner. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
