I will never understand how anyone who have ridden both could feel like the 1199 feels faster specially below

Lots due to electronics suspension and lots more why

i don't think you have any idea what you are talking about.

Electronic suspension is not allowed on WSBK (at least it wasn't in 2014)and you are talking 100's of thousands invested in those bikes to get them up to spec so our bikes while they may look alike that's about it.

I think it was the new rule In WSBK that they now have a headlight decal .
I can see how he may have got confused and thought they were riding street bikes ;)

One tells the truth and the others gang up don't get mad that bikes get stomped on every level sorry for the true facts

i have both bikes i'm just talking facts not fantasy, the 1199 is a faster bike.

Like i said look at lap times

But the bikes don't race each other that's why I used Bayliss as a example .
Do you think if Ducati were using a 1098R in 2015 it would be winning races ?

Ok now look at race wins in wsbk and BSB I rest my case

are you living in a time warp.

Ducati or indeed any other manufacturer don't make slower bikes, do you really like the 1098R back in 2008 would beat the latest Kawasaki that Rea just rode.

The 1098R will go down as one of the best bikes ever to come out of Ducati and is a good collector bike but time has moved on.
