Yes, I did read the Arrow Slipon instructions. I'll be sure to take some pictures. I'm going to follow this video below to take off the stock exhaust, which doesn't require you to loosen the rear header bolts.

I can't wait to hear it myself vs. youtube sound slips of the exhaust.

Awesome! The arrows sound great on YouTube. Did u see the ARROW slipon instructions? I’m hoping to not have to loosen the rear header bolts for this project. My exhaust won’t be here till Wednesday. Snap some pix for me and keep us posted how it goes!

When I installed my sc project slip on on my v4 and took it out on stock tune it was garbage. It lost a lot of low end power and I had to give it a lot of throttle to get it to go. Now I do live at a high elevation over 6,500 feet and I did get a check engine light from the exhaust servo. I went with the brentune to fix it. This was just my experience. IMO if you own a super bike like these and are forking over the thousands of dollars for a exhaust I would suggest to send a little bit more for a tune or canned tune versus blowing up a 20,000 plus bike and loosing all warranty.

No, I didn't. I skip that step and I use the video link installation as my guide that I posted on this post.

It's an optional cover that comes with the Lower kit but since the Arrow mid pipe doesn't align like the Akro Exhaust. I choose to cover it up since the Arrow has a different alignment, and I was shooting for a clean look.

Trying to figure out if one opts for Akra Lowers, what’s the difference between the one that shows a piece of the pipe versus the one that doesnt, I’m assuming full versus slip on.. is the portion of the pipe that shows for the arrow’s titanium or no?

Ok so the arrow pipe won’t show like the full akra does.. got it... just wanted to be sure since I ordered the exact same lower one to test fit with the arrows, before ordering a CF version that has been molded from it; seller told me it wouldn’t fit with the arrows; figured I’d take the chance and see how much if any modifications were necessary to make the stock version fit and according to you none at all, so now I may just order the CF version and cancel the stock one..

He is correct on the first version of the Arrow Slip-on's. The new V2 Slip-on's do.

I hope this helps.

My official quote is 3hrs max for a slipon like this. Dealer wanted 8hrs/ $1,000 to install. Did I really just save myself a grand? Yay more accessories

came with servo eliminator and it works, no error messages.
Let it idle and do a couple heat cycles (to acclimate the computer) It sounds good when cylinder deactivation is engaged, then when the other 2 kick on... it roars

I can feel it in my body, and this is with the mesh dB killers in

next up: clear clutch & beauty pieces. More to come
