How does it run without tuning? Cruise at about 5800rpm in 6th for a few minutes and tell me if you run into any lean issues. Looks good btw. Are you happy with the sound?

Love the sound, the sound hits me in my back and chest as I wished (resonates physically in my body) and that’s with the mesh dB killers in. Zard says they think it sounds best this way.

I went for a ride, taking it ez cause the roads are wet and it was popping a bit on upshift. I gave it full throttle around 5k rpm in 3rd and DTC kicked in cause the rear whee spun. Took it home and parked it. the first dry day we have here I’ll get it out and rip it, but Dyno day is next Thursday and he says he’ll be able to see if it’s fueling ok

.... it was hard getting the factory muffler assembly off of the collectors

I went Full blast with the stainless steel polish

My official quote is 3hrs max for a slipon like this. Dealer wanted 8hrs/ $1,000 to install. Did I really just save myself a grand? Yay more accessories

came with servo eliminator and it works, no error messages.
Let it idle and do a couple heat cycles (to acclimate the computer) It sounds good when cylinder deactivation is engaged, then when the other 2 kick on... it roars

I can feel it in my body, and this is with the mesh dB killers in

next up: clear clutch & beauty pieces. More to come
Looks great.
hope you do not mind me asking
what type off servo eliminator was provided ?

Ahh good q my friend. It’s called a “HealTech” and it definitely works!
It came with the Zard slipon. I am very impressed with this company

Make sure you get it for the correct bike. It’s probably pricy, I’ll see if there are any discounts available for you as a forum member.
Which motorcycle would you like this for?
I think this is just a band-aid until I get the bike tuned, just to keep the dash from warning abt the exhaust flapper

I took it out the other day and cruise around 5800 RPM, for 14 miles with no issues. It was easy to maintain speed.

The only issus that had is at 7000 with full throttle. There's is a little flat slot.

You're right about stock being a pain, I had put some force against it to remove it.

It wasn't so bad that folks couldn't do it themselves to save some money.

It looks outstanding my friend.

That reminds me of my 1299 before ECU flash. Big loss of power right around 6500-7500 then by 8k rpm it feels like a tri turbo setup at full spool

I’m excited to try our the v4 on dry roads, really open it up. What if it ran better stock??? I’m tired of waiting on Woolich. Maybe we’ll give this a go

yeah I’m a plain guy. I Don’t like decals and stickers on my bike. I removed the Zard stickers on the cans. Debadged
I think deep down I just don’t want ppl to know anything. another forum member once said the following and yeah I couldn’t agree more
“When people ask me what it is I tell them “it’s a motorcycle””

What year V4 do you have? I'm waiting for Upmap T800 to post a map for the 2020 V4 slip-on map, but they only have two maps for 2020, and it's for a full system. :-( I already bought the module, and just waiting one last piece.

They were reported not to be working in the beginning
good to hear they work okay now

its for a V4 base
but i am still in doubt about wich slip on to get
so at the moment you are not running any tuning but stock ?

I own a 2002 BMW 1200LT, 2015 R1, 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RR, 2018 GSX-R 1000R and of cousre 2020 V4S.

I love motorcycles!!!

Just like I had to have the S model of the 1299 for those sexy factory LED lights. This time around all we’re created equal.
What other bikes are in your collection?

Kev this deserves it's own thread - it'll be lost under the ECU discussion - but thanks for posting it. And now I have to ask a question which hijacks this ECU thread...

So...our rear wheel nut, our single solitary sole wheel nut, that is torqued to 230Nm...is that figure with or without anti-seize? (I've got a feeling it is WITH anti-seize, or what Ducati docs call grease "B" or lube "B" or something like that.) A 30% reduction would take it down to 161Nm which is a mighty big difference. Anybody know for sure?
