As I said, it’s far better than a “fair” deal - they’re likely to eat $2-4k on the deal, so if you’re really considering it, you better act before they come to their senses.

I agree, only get the S if you are doing a lot of sport touring. If you are fast (you are) then a base with good aftermarket ohlins revalved for your weight and style plus a set of Oz wheels, better still dont sell you forged Marchesinis of the 1299.The pipe is not that necessary to go fast, these bikes are fast enough stock and sooner or later a set of slip ons will come up which are more than adequate.

Ergos on the stock V4 aren’t great for shorter riders. I’m 5’7” and still running into problems. The tank is just too bulbous to really hang off. The tank interferes with my forearm which is not ideal. The new tank is a step in the right direction. Best ergos for shorter people would be RSV4, R1, Fireblade, or S1k

I rode the v2 in missano and was so happy that I ended up buying a bayliss for our place in Europe. Still, the v4 has the ooompf.. I just ordered the rade garage tank and hope that will fix my issues. I'll convert back from my spider clip ons to stock. That's all I can do for now. Don't get me wrong, it's not un rideable for me but for sure not as ergonomic as other bikes I have been on.

Unless you race in a class that only allows 1000cc max. Go for base with cartridges and shock. Btw most club race series allow for 1100 cc bikes so you can use a base or S bike.

I wouldn’t say “crazy” - modified bikes are hard to value due to the subjectivity of aftermarket mods, but I got my new 23 and 24 for ~$25k, so $22k for a used 2020 strikes me as a premium. Might be worth if if it has $10k of mods on it - if not, I’d spend a few thousand more and buy new.

32k base nyc tax and fees .now after akrapovic 7k marchesini 5k other mods 3k oh installation 5k .u looking at 50k for 24 ducati panigale v4 base. And that for base plus any mother ...... know that v4 base has way more midrange torque then R if u race R 60 - 120 it will murder R then only thing R good for it racetrack. But properly tune v4s u looking 210to 213 rear and 245 at crank 96 fit of torque. Most definitely will give R run for it money specially on race fuel!!! Both bike is monster, homicidal machine will murder most if not all ss bikes other. Watch the video when Bugatti kawasaki h2r ducati v4 sp racing and between h2r and ducati panigale sp was not that far behind h2r and that 300hp bike. Ducati panigale v4 s or sp 1103 cc very powerful fast bike that will put to sleep lifeless cbr1000rrr and s 1000rr I has 4 Japanese not older 2019 and s 1000rr 2021 . The only ppl talk .... about ducati usually the once can't afford it. Bumass. Mofo !!!!!
