V4 Superleggera

I have been interested in getting the upcoming V4SL (assuming it's a 999cc motor) but I have been using my 1199SL more and the more I use it the more I feel like it's so much overkill on the street (and even on the track if the track isn't a big MotoGP type track). I absolutely love it but make no mistake: the first SL is already a lot. Like a lot a lot.

I was super excited a while ago and now I'm a little less so because I just can't figure out where a V4SL makes my motorcycle life better. Although maybe I see it and change my mind.

Ducati usually sends out preorder invitations to previous SL and R model buyers when a new Superleggera is about to be announced. I didn’t get one yet nor did anyone else I know.

235 bhp and 159 kg dry is whispered

That's what I heard as well.
Plus she will have two superposed wing sets

Maybe most interesting:

Included in the €100k price is a WSBK experience
1 track day with a dedicated instructor riding:
- Panigale V4
- Superleggera V4
- WSBK Panigale V4

For an extra €20k - MotoGP experience
limited availability
1 additional track day with dedicated instructor:
- warm-up on SL V4
4 laps with Desmo GP19 (out-lap, two flying laps, in-lap)

:D

120k euros with MotoGP experience... so tempting.
Meanwhile wife spends $120 on something I didn't like, all the hell breaks loose lol.

One of my buddies is a Ducati dealer and he's there for the show and says its there. So I'm hoping so!

so your buddy saw it, but they didnt disclose it during the presentation? i also have a friend who was there for the unveil, and they didnt state anything about the SL....

So it has carbon fiber wheels and an diff exhaust and they are nominating it with the SL name badge, how so? Sounds like the facts are either way off or the 1299 is and will remain a legend

Carbon rear subframe and carbon fairings from spy shots is confirmed with the registration documents claiming 221bhp, 173kg and a 998cc engine at the least.

I've mentioned elsewhere I'd prefer to have seen higher, quicker revving version of the 1100cc V4, but hey that's just me........ maybe in the SL mk 2?!?
