Why does the pic of the V4R that just posted on Ducati's website have wires sticking out of the tops of the front forks?!
Not only that but electronic forks, manual shock

That's what I mean! Makes one wonder .... about this whole "last minute" thing.....Not only that but electronic forks, manual shock

Plenty of people, sick bike!!
I am not complaining. Just expectations were different
some pics have elec suspensions some don't, all should have bene photoshopped to look the same but it does appear to be a pretty hectic situation that unfolded
I am not trying to argue with you @SuperDomestique
But with out sounding like a dick, I talk to people at ducati - you do not.
Just so you know, this bike that came out today has:
+A druidi livery done in a day
+A different swing arm pivot setting stock (same options as previous)
+Rear shock comes with way lighter spring + 20mm taller
+New electronics (same as 23 base V4)
+Barely new fairings
+Sort of a new tank
So this "back up variant" can wait in any wings, at any time
So the question now is: "Who's STILL buying one?" lol

Marketing would kill you if you did that. There’s no progression in the model line when you do that? What manufacturer has ever released the top-tier model AND THEN the other models. It would be like Porsche releasing the GT3 RS and then releasing the base 911 model. It’s a let down rather than a build up.
You forgot about all the engine stuff. There’s multiple teams coordinating the development and launch of one of these bikes. These things don’t just get slapped together overnight.
The swingarm pivot is now the same as the pre22my bikes. Hence the much lower spring rate on the shock.
right but the bike in the video has adjustable swing arm pivot. the other pics do not ^^^
With the current conversion rate that would mean the bike is just over 45k
When has Ducati ever released an R in the same year as a new model?
