Yeah, like that? Though I do believe this is the second mapping upgrade (that is probably a bit better on the grammar). I'll know more when I go in to get it, I'll make them prove it up to me. But the shop generally has my full confidence. Hell, my RSV4R had like a new mapping upgrade every 6 months seems like. And off subject, but these mapping conversations at least fill me with joy that I will never do any work on a ....... carburetor.

I don't trust the shop there man, I love Justin and John is great, but the Service and Parts dept has been way off before. They told my Panigale buddy twice that the modifications for the heat were just washers that raised the seat. They told me that my Aprilia did not need a valve check at 625mi like they actually do, then proceeded to tell me that they had not done them to others and they were fine. I made them look it up to prove I was right. Meanwhile AF1 Racing in TX said that 60% of the bikes they saw needed an adjustment at 625mi. When they did mine, sure enough 6 of the 8 valves were in need of adjustment. My friend with the Panigale brought them a list of 6 things that needed to be done on his first service (new map, recalls etc.) they only did 4... I really like the shop and the environment over there, the sales staff is really good. But parts and service let the front of the house down big time.

Funny you should say this because I've found that a few of the local dealers here have little to no timely information regarding the Pani either. Probably because they don't obsess over every detail of the bike like we do here :)

But there's been several occasions where I've talked to them about recalls before they're aware of them, technical aspects that they're ignorant of, and updates from DNA that they hadn't heard of that were weeks/months old. The service guys at my local shop and I have a good relationship though and they trust my word vs. get insecure and try to debate or argue about stuff.

Dman, good to know, I'll pay better attention. I may be misguided in my trust. Thanks for the info. And yes, I may be letting my appreciation for Justin and John blur my image of the parts and service.
