BrenTuning Flash Development (Tech Talk)

Unless Bren has a dyno, proper tuning software and someone that actually knows what they are doing all you guys are getting the same map that they brewed up. Like others have said this being a sales pitch well yes that is correct.

Love my tune with no issues, more power was definitely made and corrected my bike. Yes they do have a dyno, not sure why you would say that they don't unless you have an ulterior motive...

SLR offer a virtually identical product. They sent me their maps, I uploaded to the device and my bike, and got it dynoed. I sent them the dyno print out, inc afr, and they customised the maps for my bike, perfect! Best of both worlds.

Some people claim it’s snake oil and then don’t respond to “who tunes your ducs”
Brendan worked magic on my 1299 and just listen to those seamless quickshifts BrenTuning has perfected at 9:17 below:

I look at brentuning the same way i look at LUND or COBB. Canned tunes that are mostly safe and fix a lot of the stock tunes little issues

I don’t have on my Ducati’s but the Brentune on my HP4 delivered exactly what I was after. I only need to toggle between stock and the map every now and then to be reminded of the difference. The after sales service has also been good for me.

It depends what you after in my view. If you are a racer or a fast track day rider who needs every single pony and a profile that works well with your bespoke chassis/suspension and tyre situation then sure, you may need more tailored tuning.

I just ordered my hand held unit from Bren today for my Speciale. I’m excited to see how it is vs. the AKR up map. I’m running the full system also but have the inserts in. Wouldn't mind pulling them out and have a tune for That set up also.

No bike electronics are the same , buying online tune scares me .
Yes you'll see a difference with there cookie cutter tunes however the tune you're loading was created on a different bike with different elevation, different fuel again Many factors at hand. if you're wanting the best results get your bike on an Actual dyno build your tune for your specific bike by an experienced tuner.

Or you can always buy a woolich autotune .

Read your Brentune Map by extracting and deep dive what they actually tweak on your factory MAP , fuel , spark look at all of it .

Then compare it to an actual Map that was tuned on a Dyno by an experienced tuner .

So if you are happy with a cookie cutter tune image what it would feel like if you made a specific tune for your bike . Just image that ?

Again I am not knocking and I am only stating these internet tunes are nothing close to an actual dyno tune made specific to your bike by an experienced tuner . Bam [emoji95]

@Somefun

Did you ask Bren about how soon we can expect the same for the SF? And do you know if the units will work on more than one bike?

I’d be interested in how yours turns out. I have a thread in here on how mine went.

It’s a Dim sport handheld, they are married to 1 bike and 1 master tuner (dealer), which means that it will only take maps from the dealer you bought it from.

I got a quote directly from dim sport to get the equipment and software to do all your own tuning on this bike.Takes a trans data box, some licensing, and then the editing software. North of $3k.

I did he said they are working on it and hopefully maybe a couple months. He wanted to know if I wanted to give him my SF but I’m not sure I do yet. I’m ok with his tune for the Speciale because they are only an hour and a half from me so it’s not like I’m in CA running a tune made in CT.
