That's AWSOME artwork. Love the added lettering! Even if it pokes fun at us gun owners, that's great....

Has anyone noticed that the 1199 seat gets really hot?

LOL

Just had a face to face discussion about this topic with an Aussie I met in San Francisco. He doesn't get it at all.

While I don't carry, I sure would appreciate someone else that does when one of use gets a flat tire out here on some country road!

Simply put, in AZ, I have a right to protect my property at WHATEVER means necessary. I pray that I will never need to use that right, but you better stay away from my Ducati, my Z06, my home, and my fiancé (sorry babe, I know your not property...lol). I haven't been bothered while on my Duc, but have been approached a few times while in my Vette (never had to draw, but felt much safer). You anti-gun haters are incredibly stupid if you think it can't/won't happen to you. I know several people that were anti-gun...just wait until your wife or daughter is attacked at a gas station right in front of you and there's nothing you can do about it. You will be pro-gun then, but it will be too late. I agree that crime like this will not happen to 99% of us in this lifetime, but for that 1% (no matter where you live), I hope you are ready. Hopefully me and my .45 will be near by. Tucson is 70% above the national average in violent crimes on innocent people, and I won't be a part of that stat.

FYI, this is a Panigale forum, not a gun forum - please don't make this your only attempt at contributing - and this has been beat to death (pun intended), we want it to go away. Far away.

I open carry everywhere I go in Virginia, and Open carried on my Monster.

(Level2 retention holster)

I have been carrying concealed on my Panigale, until I am more used to the bike, and then will start open carrying again.

I don't ever want to use my sidearm, but if I ever have to, its good to know its there. Its like seat belts, and fire extinguishers.

It's OK, you don't have to. Actually coming from Texas where it is illeagal to open carry, I can understand. I spend my Decembers in Houston, and its interesting. Everyone THINKS Texas is some great gun state.... but its not. it HORRIBLE for gun laws.

Virginia has no permit needed to open carry, easy concealed carry permit process, and not nearly as many restrictive gun laws of Texas. Now I just sound like a proud Virginian. ;)

Uh oh, thread officially resurrected. :)

I typically carry a holding knife in my pocket. I would think a knife flying off on a highway is more dangerous than a gun? lol

Well I am no Texan..Nor an advocate of the liberal gun laws in the Usa...But knowing its part of the constitution they are here to stay.. :(

Are you guys for real, carrying a gun while riding your bike? I am lucky I do not live in your part of world with straight roads and people with guns. I twist the throttle and in a few seconds I am out of any trouble.
