Base or 1199S. Serious help needed for the choice

Haha my wife already tried doing that on gofundme for me. 0 dollars raised. But it was a nice gesture.
 
Don't kid yourself over the use of ohlins on the street where better suspension that can handle rough pavement helps even more.

You don't have to push the bike to enjoy great suspension.

The difference is worth it.

I agree, I have come off a base into the "s" and the difference on the street in sports mode to pushing in the hills in race mode is fantastic. The trouble with the base is you have one setting if you are a suspension pleb like me.

One setting on the base, what do you mean?

The S still requires manual preload adjustment right? And electronic part is only for compression and rebounding? Same F or P swingarm link right?

FWIW, I push my standard pretty hard in the twisties and as soon as I get the throttle remapped, it'll be almost perfect. Track day coming soon as well, can't wait.
