I love this build!

Thanks HKMP7,
Your build is also great and brings inspiration to me :)

By the way, Mr. Postman just deliver this Carbon rear brake reservoir bracket by Shift-Tech.
I need this bracket so I can avoid cutting the original plastic bracket.
So I plan to put the Ducati by Rizoma, Wave Clutch Reservoir for the rear brake. Since the Wave Clutch Reservoir is larger in diameter, I will have it custom mounted to the engine block using
several Rizoma rear view mirror bracket with ProTi bolts. That mean will CUT/CHOP the upper half of this Carbon bracket for that custom mounting :p
It will be fun :D

Since I don't know which combination of bracket that I will need, I just buy a bunch of them... they will come in handy anyway and they are cheap (some of them are on sale/clearance):

I almost forgot that this parts below already arrived few weeks ago, so...I know I need to prepare for the most painful part which is bleeding the brake, and because I plan to change all the banjo bolt with the ProTi Titanium Banjo Bolts, that mean I will need to bleed the clutch, front brake and rear brake...
so to make it easy I bought all this Stahlbus Quick Bleeder :p
Initially, I was also planning to replace all the brake and clutch line with the FrenTubo carbon fiber brake lines, until I notice that some of the stock line were actually solid pipe line,
which always better than any braided brake lines can be, so I decided to stay with the stock one.
Not to mention some of those line runs very close to the rear cylinder bank exhaust manifold.
Below is the picture of all the Stahlbus Quick Bleeder needed:

I bought the Stahblus bleeders for my master cylinders and it makes bleeding a 5 minute deal with little mess and no more pumping-hold-open the bleeder-close the bleeder. Just crack the bleeder and pump the old fluid out.

I am glad to hear that Avidmoto, sure will make my life easier...
One more parts related just arrived, Oberon Clutch Slave Cylinder in Gold color. I read that many Panigale V4 have problems with the need to re-bleed every 200 miles caused by the stock clutch slave cylinder and solved after replacing them,
so don't want to have that risk even for a bike destined to pose forever standing still :p,... well not to mention it looks pretty ;)
On serious note, I ordered this part direct from Oberon in UK just 2 days ago, and it arrived today with FedEx. Talk about super fast shipment at very reasonable shipping cost!!!

Initially, I was considering to purchase the one from Aella since it have 28mm diameter so will be even lighter to press the clutch lever compare Oberon 26 mm and stock Ducati 22mm...
but I notice Aella is basically a factory slave clutch (the housing is the same) just modified to accept larger piston then anodized

Then I look at CNC racing model with an even larger 29mm piston, but those CNC racing design is much thinner on the center, and although it looks slim like a super model, but it will not be as rigid as Oberon much thicker design,
so I choose Oberon from engineering point of view.

also, a pair of Titanium Bolts for the engine to frame by V4evo arrive yesterday, however one of it have slight imperfection. Petros from V4evo quickly respond by sending me a replacement.
Can't wait to get them. This will be for the lower engine mount though, the upper one will be the MotoCorse one (which I paid more than a month ago but will not arrived until at least a month from now).

Please post up how that slave works for you (well, I guess if you ride the bike). The front piston only supplies so much fluid per clutch pull. Although that fluid, spread out over a larger surface area slave piston provides more mechanical advantage, the piston movement is reduced. There will be a point where a larger diameter piston will not have the clutch travel required to properly disengage the clutch. Also, the less travel you have, the more important the clutch adjustment will be.

I haven't had any clutch issues in 1000kms, but if I do, I would like to have an idea of what slave to go with.

Hi ArcticWhite,
Yes, I will update here, at least how it feel in stationary position. I agree with you regarding the travel, and from what I read in this forum, there are many user of Panigale V4 (especially the early 2018 model) that replaced their slave cylinder with Oberon and solved their issue with the need to keep bleeding every 200 miles with no problem with clutch engagement. Of course you need to pull the clutch more than before.
Some of them also used CNC racing model and did not report problem despite an even larger piston size. Interestingly no one use AELLA, maybe because the price is about 3 times Oberon... (the CNC racing one I believe is 1.5 times the price of Oberon).
I also heard that for most use of 2019+ model, the problem was fixed by Ducati with the smaller size braided line.

in the early 2000 when I was the owner of the exclusive distributor of Aprilia at my country of origin, I sold a clutch slave upgrade (I forgot the brand) for the Aprilia first generation RSV Mille and many customer were happy and have no problem with the larger clutch slave, the lever is lighter to pull, good during the crazy traffic jam.

update: I remember the brand now, it's Evoluzione, I also sold their adjustable fuel pressure regulator kit,... ah the good glorious day :D

Hello TsaiCo,
I just take this picture a few minutes ago just for you to "encourage" you to purchase it asap :D
Take a look at the label, it say "Made in ENGLAND",
you know, the last time I ever own something that say Made in England was in the mid 80's 35 years ago when my father bought me a Raleigh "Milk Race" bicycles :)
And amazingly it only cost $133.93 USD converted from £102.07 GBP with 2 day FedEx shipping from UK errr. England :p

and the model number is 1103, I believe that is intentional as in our engine cc size, nice touch from Oberon

I haven't had any issues either, just under 700 miles on my '20 S. But now I want a black Oberon just to have it

I got the DucaBike one for my 1299, and It really is worth upgrading. I was kinda annoyed cause mine was letting air into the system and after having the new one fitted, I wished I had done it sooner! You V4 guys will probably be in the same position if you keep your OEM clutch slave. It’ll give up on u a month or 2 after the warranty expires

slightly easier clutch lever pull and much smoother clutch action. Definitely an upgrade

some detail of the restoration

Heres the table of broken dreams- every twisted part tells a story!

A bike room I love the sound of that.. Sounds better than man cave. I love that old 900 SS. Looks like a 1977 or 78. I have an old one too a 900 SSD Darmah and it is so hard cleaning up those engines after 40 years of grime. Great thread BMW Alpina and Paul G thanks for posting this beautiful inspiration. I currently have the clutch cover off my SSD and I am polishing it up. I am also replacing the ignition coil wiring but sourcing some PFTE wire which will resist the heat of the oil is hard. Everyone over here wants to sell it in industry lengths when I need two colours and about 30cm of wire. In between I have a done of parts to put on my old 1199S. I always like to see pics of different things. Will keep an on on this thread. :)

Guys, I have run the Sitta stuff for years. Excellent product. I would suggest that if you are tracking your bike and need to change the rear somewhat frequently and are putting enough power to the rear to warrant the lower cost of just replacing the outer ring or you just want the look then go for the QC. If however you are going to be riding the bike in a normal fashion and would be more interested in a no frills reliable power delivery system then I would go with the Sitta 1pc and a well matched carrier. Chain alignment is critical for the life of these things and you have more moving parts with the QC. I have used both. I just never found any benefit in the QC and have had to screw with the alignment on it. Also remember there are slight tolerance variations in flanges, carriers and sprockets. You want to check all that during assembly. Just a thought

Good advice. I cannot find someone that sells the front sitta or rear sprocket separately. Do you know who sells them? Thanks

The honda stuff is ok but I like plexus a lot better for the plastics. I've tried both.

I have never found the honda stuff here in Oz but I am with gnance on Plexus it is expensive here but really good. It gets my vote. BTW I am on a first name basis with Sherman at Proti. Have spend way too much money with him.
