I can"t count that high.
Besides I don't like change(it's the autism)
and 43 might be too far

I don't normally post, I just lurk and learn but I found this thread interesting! I have had a steady state surge issue that was annoying, but I thought it to be part of the beast. After reading this thread a friend and I took our bikes to a "So Cal Dealer" last Saturday and asked about an update. The service writer had no knowledge of an update, but both of our bikes took a download. My 2013 S was up to date as of my prior service visit in December. The download took about 15 minutes and the bike is MUCH smoother; I would agree that the download is a transformation.

Top speed is not the issue
It's everything in between where I have the problem
It's only since I've got older and greyer, that I've been able to learn a bit of self control
I said I would post an update after picking up the bike on Sat, but I'm not the best test since I also had termis installed so switched to that upmap. The bike is definitely loads smoother at low speed than it was before and the pickup is ridiculous, but that could be just my perception because I was tooling around on a 75 HP dual sport for the 3 weeks it was in the shop.
Will finally get my bike back tomorrow. I wasn't holding out for much but now I'm quite excited
Had mine in yesterday for an oil/filter change, TSB on airbox and check to see if the update was needed.
Mine is a '14 1199R that I purchased on 28 Feb. Mine did not take an update.
They mentioned that some Panigale's have taken an injector/fuel update.
Maybe it is only the '12-'13 that need the updated map??
