The 2015 and 2016 Multistrada has a 2" lower seat height than the 2014 and earlier models. This suits us shorter guys more so tan the taller folk.

The seat height is also two position adjustable on the 2015+ models.

I believe there is also a low seat available which lowers it a little further, although that has to be at the expense of seat padding.

I'm 5' 7", 29" inseam and am using the stock seat in the high position and don't have any more issue with the seat height than I did on my 1098.

It really is tall. I was really surprised the first time I sat on one (and I'm 6'2"). It is so tall that I wonder if they aren't alienating some of their demographic.

I think it would be incredibly easy and cheap for them to create a modern day ST4 by lowering it a bit and changing the fairing to less of a beak and more of a sport touring fairing/windscreen. The basic bike could remain identical. I think they could make a business case based upon how cheap it would be to make.

I have a DRZ400S.

A good street legal enduro or dirtbike really adds to the fun. Something you can toss around wherever, and not have to baby like a sportbike.
