PRO Pipe on a non R bike

Oh... Dyno results show (since I saw something about poor performance with exhaust "open") that without the Termi slip-on on, the bike gained 14 HP. Yes... Bike was well tuned and ran solid numbers for post Termi install. Termis removed and dyno'd, netted 14 hp...

There is a collective of people (probably morons per Gatti) that believe that the Termi mufflers are restrictive. The inlet diameter is bigger and the opening and the traveling through pipes are smaller...

We are trying to think about getting a traditional muffler (shorty type like an R6 has, etc) and running it out the bottom. Just a test to see what the results are. I see the WSBK pipes running outside the swingarm and it tells me off the cuff that they are longer and BIGGER. I'd be really interested in the mufflers...

Something like this?

What did Chad get in terms of results from the difference in pipes? Not a fan of the under the tail, but is exactly what we have been envisioning.

Are you do that to your bike also?

Overall good numbers but he said it was way too loud.
Not for me. I will stick with Akra.

Any ideas of gain over Termi? Good numbers is pretty vague.

Huge Midrange. Slightly less peak HP, slightly more peak Tq. Way more noise.

When I say huge, the dyno shows 6-8K RPM its like 10-25HP over full Termi. Loses a little (around 3 HP) up top. Flat torque above 5K with approximately 3 more Tq peak.

Not allowed to share the dyno graph, but I have seen it with my own eyes in the last 5 minutes.
