If this is in response to my post, then I will be sticking with my 2012. No need for an R for me. And if I could afford a 1408, I would not hang off the rafters I would trailer it to the back off Starbucks, put on my brand new 1408 matched helmet, leathers and boots, and ride 20 metres to the front entrance and order my skim latte, lemon scent, chai mix with a twist

Here's a Private Message recvd from ENDODOC for being called out on showing how he claims to be able to build up a 1199 Base model into an SL for cheaper than you can buy one from Ducati....simple common courtesy is not one of his strong points... check this out:

I'm guessing that's how it looks when you actually use a file?
That is so much worse than the original chicken srtips, you are admitting you don't have the abiliy to do it through your riding. I don't have anything against chicken strips, some guys prefer to leave the agressive riding for the track, no doubt the safest place to do it.....you cant judge a rider by his tyres.

Keep it coming. Im going over the build list now. So far Im at $50,786.00 with nothing left but very small mis items. All prices are full retail. All the components that would be considered "upgrades" to the SL are in red. The SL price was $65,000.00. I still have 14K and change to play with. I cant wait for RD to write that check. Mutt1979 Finally you post a pic of your ride. Looks great.
