She's basically done, I'm stalling as everyone is away for Christmas, and there's no point in continuing yet. I want to build my rendition, of a sendoff for the mighty Twin. So all the covers and bits of plastic, electronics trays and tail section lower trays and such... Are all coming in FullSix and Carbonvani carbon. Swingarm guard and such too. And I'm changing every bolt in her to Proti blue titanium, and it's all on the way after a little wait. The exhaust is absolutely beautiful, perfect fit and finish. Total build there's much more, but that lot is basically everything I do from this point for reassembly, so I wait. BST, AEM, Moto Corse and BiTubo have big glorious things in store for her too. Excited [emoji851][emoji319]

I have a lot of the obvious nuts n bolts in the blue proti but if you'd be willing to help, I'd like to know the specific bolts I would need for some of them so i know which ones to buy. I will have to take a look at my bike n see exactly which ones i have to replace still and go from there. We can chat through pm if you'd be willing to help.

No problem at all! I will be honest, I was gearing up to do endless research, and choosing. Been here before with the competition. Kind of felt like it would never end, beyond the obvious stuff on my RC8, everything had to be measured bolt by bolt. Now my friend comes the Glorious old school days type part here, I'm here myself too, ask away I will always do what I can.

Or, email [email protected] and address it to Lyle. Anything down to a pic pointing at the bolt, you're good. Just asking really, when in doubt I send pics. He's so good at this stuff (everyone there but Lyle rocks) he thought of some things I didn't a few days ago. Just little stuff, but I was adding the hardware on the exhaust, and since he knows Proti inside and out the bolt head choice best made was different. In the end all the little stuff matters in my book; so ask away or bug Lyle all you want (just tell him Justin sent you then razz him good[emoji23]) and we'll get her all sexy!

If you really want to have fun, email Lyle, just say you heard he was the source for QUALITY Gold Unicorn Nuts. [emoji1308][emoji38][emoji1308]

Are you just going to be running the stock O2 sensors or are you planning on fitting the wide bands as well?

For now not going wide band, having her dyno tuned and flashed. I may in the future, but having them full time on my RC8 and other friends, they seem to go bad. Some pull them after getting the tune right, I'm hoping to not have to at all.

Lol I'm very familiar with Randy n those guys. Hell, I've spent probably $10k with those guys. I got all my current proti stuff from them. Pretty much all the pre-packaged stuff but I've got the random bolts here n there to get n don't really know the specific ones I need. Mainly the ones that can be seen all over the bike. The ones behind the fairings n such can wait. Afterall, these bolts are stupid expensive but that blue sure does work on my bike!

Gotcha! Not surprised! Well mine are all coming right now I'm pretty sure, so let me know and I will note the numbers as I unpackage them [emoji1308][emoji16][emoji1308]

Looks great, but that heat shield that’s supposed to be CF looks horrible.

Actually, it looks to be pretty good from the pictures. I think that the issue is that it's a twill weave instead of the 2x2 and 1x1 that's on the rest of the bike so you probably think it looks "off."

I am more interested to see the belly pan, which I've never seen.

The empty spot now you can see through above rear fender I think takes away from the bike Hope performance is worth it .

I actually prefer the negative space. It makes the bike look lighter imo.

Regardless of aesthetics, the sound of this system is worth it alone!

if the carbon was matte it'd be better. otherwise, the system looks great.

maybe throw up some wide shots of the bike/exhaust to better see how it all comes together.

Good point on making it look lighter. I really love the look of the FE SL heat shield it would be hard for me to take it off.

It's TOUGH for me, the entire thing is. I planned on, well mostly leaving her as she was. I agree with Nate about the negative space looking lighter, she looks GREAT! But, I miss my FE. So I'm anxiously awaiting the Redline heat shield, hoping it's similar to me. Then I can let the new owner of the old Akra have it too, which would also be awesome.

In conclusion I agree with everyone [emoji23]

I will, been dark and gloomy here and she's still on the lift, but as soon as I can get decent shots. It looks great for sure. Even the red and white on the name plaques looks great.

I am debating sanding the carbon down and finishing it with a matte clear coat.

Just started install last night, forgot what a pain the full Termi install was. Have to loosen the rear sub frame to get the termi heat shield out.

What am I going to do without my two mufflers on either side of the oil pan overheating my oil in stop and go traffic?:D

Installed on Final Edition?

Has anyone successfully installed one of these on a Final Edition? I had to send mine back because it didn't fit. The front cylinder pipe ran too close to the cutout on the lower right fairing and melted it.

There were other fitment issues as well. One of the springs interferes with the rear brake pedal and the left tail pipe interferes with the shock reservoir.

I wish this thing was made to reuse the stock heat shield / tailpipe mount instead of the cheesy turnbuckles supplied.

Sound and performance were awesome but I couldn't get past the fitment issues. Not on a $40K bike.
