same here. and if the upload fails, you have to choose a different map first as well, hop that this one loads completely and then try the initial one again...

Here is a link to the standard V0206 tune and latest FlashMitsubishi program
Please use the new FlashMitsubishi program included in the zip.

I will try to have the modified version with Cruise Control and tuning added here soon.

The problem with turning cruise control on can be a number of things.
1. Three seconds is a long time, try holding the button longer.
2. The throttle blip will not happen if the brakes are on, clutch pulled or bike moving. Many people sit on the bike with a finger on the front brake (to stop it moving) and wonder why the throttle blip does not happen.
Start the bike on sidestand and hold the start button for a long time.
3. If this does not result in a blip you should check that your brake light switch is not causing the brake to appear to be on all the time, look at your brake light and make sure it goes on when you pull the brakes.
I had one bike on the dyno that had rearsets, he had the rear brake light switch tied out of the way, this resulted in the brake light on all the time and no cruise control...
The CruisePreFlight program is included to allow you to check that the clutch and brake functions are being seen correctly.
I would love to see a post here telling us what the reason was for the failure to turn on the Cruise control.
If it was a problem with the Tune file it would be a problem for everyone not one or two bikes.
So often people complain on a forum and never add an update when the problem is worked out.

Over the last week I have been testing a Panigale with the latest version of the CruiseAndTuning map (based on V0206) and did not have any problems with the idle.
I did notice that the EBC value can make the ECU hold some throttle on when you back off the throttle.

The documentation is installed on the desktop, if you have a cluttered desktop you may not be seeing it.

I assume the bikes talked about here are 1199 not 1199R models, the map is different for the 1199R.

When you flash the ECU using the TuneBoy software the last flash date and the last dealer code are unchanged, this means your dealer will not know that you have flashed the ECU unless you tell them.
Hint: Don't tell them...

The new version of the tune files will support a strain gauge shifter, this will allow reverse pattern shifting and down shift blipper, it also speeds up the kill time as the long kill time is a complaint with the standard DQS.

Any tunes based off the 0206 with a full termi?

To the best of my knowledge probably only WAFB has anything like a fully developed 'trim file' (the actual fuel map adjustment) and that is for his AR system. I am in discussion with our local dyne guy and will eventually do a trim for termi slips. Prolly still some weeks away though...

The standard tunes can only be loaded into the ECU if the ECU has one of the TuneBoy maps loaded.
The download should not fail if you are using the USB connection to the WB-01 box.
If you connect using WiFi the download process can fail in the middle, this is because the WiFi connection uses TCP/IP and most PC's try to reduce the number of packets sent, this is done by waiting up to 200 m/s for more data, this 200 m/s can cause the ECU to assume the reflash has failed.
You can google "TCP nargle delayed ack" if you want to find out more about this, you can also find instructions on changing some registry entries to speed the WiFi connection up.

i won't have time this week to check it, left the bike sitting in the garage with an unfinished map load. consider it extra anti-theft. ;)

to be continued next weekend.

thanks for the advise, wayne.

rode the bike in to the office today after adding the TB 0206 map, all running fine with no problems........looking forward to getting and applying the tuned ver and trim file.

just wanted to bump this one - Wayne any updates on a new cruise and tune file based on 0206 we can try? thanks, steve

Great to hear the 0206 version is out. Mine runs fine on the 0205 version, but better to have the current map. Have you have to uninstall the previous program to download the new version? One question though: there is no choice for Termi slip or Termi full when flashing the ECU, it merely says Panigale STD 0205. I take it that means the flash is only for the standard system? I too have noticed that on occasion the program fails to blip the throttle upon engaging the cruise control, but it still works as designed. I wish that every time I nudged up or down using the menu buttons it didn't change the menu reading at the same time, but no big deal. Otherwise, the cruise control is incredible. Too many crashes at the track left me with fairly severe arthritis in my hands, and - especially my right hand - continually becomes numb after a few miles, and only needs a quick shake to relieve. Problem solved.

TB applies a 'trim' to the currently selected map (std/slip/full) so works equally for all...

Pouakai, does it apply the same "trim" to the single map (the latest example being the 0206), and therefore the standard exhaust is the same "trim" as the full system? If that is the case, wouldn't it tend to be too rich for the standard exhaust and to a lesser extent the slip-ons? Thanks in advance for your advise and info.

Standard ECU and therefore the TB modified firmware (aka 'Tune' in TB speak) always comes with 3 map bundles (std/slips/full). The right map bundle is selected with the USB key. TB firmware then allows you to trim the correct fuel map for your bike. A TB 'tune' makes no changes to your fuel map until you start 'triming' it. A trim file applies adjustments to the correct map for your bike so will be approximately valid for all exhaust types.

Pouakai, thanks again for the info, but on my reflash, the new program loaded is the older 0205 versus the latest 0206 which the dealer put on a few months ago. Would this situation lead you to believe that the ECU programming is no longer set up for my Termi slip ons since I was never prompted as to which setup I had? Wayne says there is no difference in the ways the bikes run 0205 versus 0206, only changes to the DQS system. Wayne said the trim files are on the LogWorks3Setup on the included CD. Do you have any info on how I access them and reflash using this, as I am fairly certain I never got to this stage as I only flashed the ECU using the file entitled: "Panigale STDCruise_and_Tune" if I remember the name right? You are a wealth of useful information, and please excuse my ignorance when it comes to computer programming of the ECUs - I grew up in the days of non-electronic carbs. High tech meant a Weber for cars, or a Keihin flat-slide carb for my TZ250W or B model. Thanks in advance once again.

I don't know of any circumstance in which your ECU would forget which map bundle it should be using. Once selected with the USB stick it stays put and withstands all combinations of reprogramming that I know of. I gone from factory 204 > factory 205 > TB Cruise and Tune (205) > TB std (205) > factory 206 > TB Cruise and tune with 'Panigale.trim) applied (205). In every case I have never needed to worry about the map bundle selected - it always powers on and says 'RACING' on the dash.
I hope you still have you TZ ? Getting quite collectible now...

Pouakai, The 0206 file keeps coming up as an "invalid TuneBoy file" which is not surprising since I downloaded from a link on this thread. I have no complaints with the 0205 file though. But... I was emailed a TuneBoy tune from Wayne today that is for the full Termi system. Since Wayne has only done a tune for the standard exhaust, and applied it to the Termi slip ons (db killers installed) by measuring the AFR, which was still okay according to Wayne. My question is: do you think I am better off with the full Termi trim file (I have a 2012 Tri with Termi slip-ons - the db killers removed, and an MWR High Efficiency air filter which I have yet to install), than with the standard map (0205) he has on the CD? Looking at the trim tables, it is considerably leaned out from the standard 0 values for a good portion of the map. Thanks once again my brilliant "searchers of truth" on this forum. Between us all - we will figure this TuneBoy system out.
In regards to the TZ, alas no - it found a new home many years ago - broken pelvis' tend to change your frame of mind while laying in a hospital bed mending. Incredible piece of racing machinery though, and as the years have past, I wished I had kept it.

To apply a trim file load it up in the 'TuneBoyTrim' program then connect to the ECU and it will examine the ECU trim' it will find the ECU trim different to what you have just loaded and ask if you want to update the ECU. Say yes and you ECU will shortly contain the trim in RAM memory which will last until you key off. To make it permanent there is a menu option something like 'flash ECU' or 'store to flash' when you select this you are asked to choose a tune file - choose the same as you did with 'flash mitsubishi', TBTrim then applies the trim to the tune, then closes and opens FlashMitsubishi to complete the upload. Your trim is now semi-permant.
All the above is detailed in the manual.
I think I received 1 trim on the CD and another via email which Wayne asked me to test.
PanigaleStdTo40.TRM is the file from the CD IIRC.
Cheers
