Ok, read all the material, downloaded the latest software and re-flashed the ECU tonight with no real issues, hoping to test Tuesday. It has however raised a few points/questions.
My (limited!) understanding then is Tuneboy provides the 'tune' files which are identical to the Ducati ones but with additional options added (cruise control, tuning options, reset of service light & cooling fan). On top of of this you can then add the 'trim' files which are effectively the map (fuel/ign etc) for your own specific bike & configuration.
Hugepiece - thx for the updated 'Tune' you forwarded. I'm assuming that this is just based on the recent Ducati update (0206?) and so the bike should run identically to before, bar the cruise control etc?
Pouakai - how do you load the trim files into the ECU memory for a single key on cycle. I'm guessing any changes flashed to the ECU from the 'FlashMitsubishi' program are made permanently and temporary changes are made through the 'Tuneboy Trim' program?
I ran the 'CruisePreFlight' program to check the clutch/brake lever registered for deactivating cruise control. The clutch lever value changed (from 0 to 1) however applying either brake didn't change the value (1). I haven't changed the rear sets or the front brake, the brake light activates normally. Has anyone else come across this? When the controller is plugged into the bike it disrupts the can line system. Could this be the reason I'm not getting the value to change?
I wasn't prompted to enter a password for the WB-01 box, I'm guessing this is only an issue if you're leaving it on the bike and connecting via wifi?
Finally I remember reading someone couldn't get the menu up/down buttons to work. You can adjust it by entering the Tuneboy Trim program, going to tools/config options.
