Uhm don't wanna state the obvious but all the bike prices are right on the Ducati Canada website. It's not the Stone Age.

You do realize some dealerships mark up more than others...right? Suggested retail price doesn't mean that's what everone is charging, but ummm,I didn't want to state the obvious. Anyone who knows much about bikes or cars realizes the price is not the price until it rolls off the floor. I'm interested in positive people and discussion, so have a nice day.

Dude... Ignore Frosty he's... well he's Frosty..

nah, frosty's just got cabin fever, he's been snowed in for six months, the internet is his only outlet, so social skills tend to start getting rusty! :)

....or none existent...

I can relate to cabin fever - just sitting here watching the snow melt (drip-drip-drip). due to a freak of nature there is a high pressure system located at the north pole pushing "frosty" air into northern Europe making average temperatures 6-10 degrees lower than normal. the "R" is still at the dealer and I hope for some warmer weather during the next few weeks. i simply can't wait........:(

I've yet to see it personally. And with several dealerships around, why on earth would anyone pay more than MSRP for a bike that's already $2,000 more in Canada? Hell I've bought bikes in completely different cities before, another dealership actually knew what they were doing and didn't want to lose my business. That was when I lived on Vancouver Island, bought twice out of Vancouver, saved thousands, and they even picked me up at the ferry. I have a lot of friends who did/do work at bike dealerships, it's also very common for them to sell a bike to a customer that they just ship/deliver the bike to far away. So it really makes zero sense to ever pay more than MSRP for any vehicle, unless you just love pissing money away.

Time to bust out a map....it rarely snows in Vancouver; a couple times at most and usually only an inch or two.

Some of you might not like my posts because they're honest and straight forward, aka the real world. Do you need me to hold your hands and cup your balls? Keep dreaming.

Frosty or crusty?

Can I get a rain check on the ball cupping? (no frosty hands, though!)
