Usually that happens, for instance the US cbr1 get like 80% max throttle from 10,000+ rpm onwards, i'm sure the zx10r there are restricted too.
Then again the graph looks pretty legit to me.. at least the plot is very similiar to the one ducati posted.

I guess the higher rev ceilling of bmw makes a big difference.

Appears the the 1198 power is consistant btw plots by motorcycle usa, we can conclude that the panigale fits somewhere high up =)

I'm willing to bet my left testicle that they've dyno'd incorrectly.
The Pani wouldn't be the first vehicle that required a little "in house" know how to dyno correctly. That dyno result looks like the ECU is pulling some timing, or something to that effect.
In addition to that, if those numbers were somehow correct, then either the guys riding 1199s at Monza are a really really good, or the rest of the field are really really ......
That many ponies down, and they still manage 1 & 3...???
