2023 V4R, anyone else disappointed?

The mirror block offs I used on my my20 fit my my22 without any change.
The rear tail cover was the same..

I think the other guy meant the narrow body Panigale models have a different mirror block off shape, which was my experience. I tried to go cheap and bought some ones from a 2018 which fit like .... on my 2021.

If the R shows up at dealerships and they cut corners on parts. I'm going to cancel my order.

45k for a bike and you cheap out...No Bueno
I get not having carbon wheels. And some of the other parts on the SP2. But to cheap out on the brakes of a bike your marketing as the WSB winner?
That extra 15+ K over a V4s can buy some really nice stuff.

F around and find out.

What makes you think Ducati cut corners on the 23R? I can't imagine it has any different build quality than anything else which comes off of their production line. Maybe the SL gets more attention, but that's a big maybe. Its the same build and production methods getting used for everything.

Yes I agree, that being said it will be like all the rest where you upgrade the rear sets, black plastic to carbon fiber and so on…..they know exactly what’s their doing and selling a lot of up grades after the fact.

Mirror block offs are slightly different on the 22+ than <21. Picked up a set of old Rizoma block offs and had to shave down the upper outside sides to match the curve of the bodywork. You also need a thicker foam pad underneath them
can only pee with the cock you are given...

a buddy was at the bikeshow today in the UK with the 2023 R on display.
now I had already alluded to the fact the rear shock length is now 216 as std and wondered what they had changed ???

A sneaky picture.....

it seems to me they have just wound the bottom eye out......the same bottom eye as the previous TTX has with the warning groove and their advise not to go beyond....

I rode mine like that when I ran that swingarm position. Didn't have any issue 🤷‍♂️

+1 is the same as the pre 22 bike.
When I tried +1, I ran shock length of 318mm (but obviously fairly useless information without wheelbase or comparable ride height measurement).
I ran the forks flush, but had Mupo cartridges, which give a different fork length anyway.
I did about 3k miles with +1 swingarm position, never found a brilliant setting. When I went back to the -3, bike was so much nicer to ride, for my riding style. The bike, with +1, was incredible on the brakes and throttle, wouldn't corner well, and mid corner speed was low. Reminded me of the description of Dovi's GP bike.
