Well, the US has one in Pompano Beach, FL. Came in yesterday and is awaiting delivery to the buyer 👏.

I had a feeling there would be discrepancies in delivery dates. I do live very close to a Ducati dealer. However I went to a BIG dealership to see if that mattered. They are a Moto-America team sponsor "NYC Ducati" aka Warhorse ( I think the team Petrucci rode for this year?).
Not sure if that made a difference?
They had an V4 SP2 there the # was 2200 something. Waiting to be picked up.

Makes a very big difference on delivery dates. Certain dealers will have a row of new bikes while others wait many months for anything to deliver.
Many factors involved. Dealer performance, particulr customers in the 'influencer' category, cousins working at the factory etc.

No; a 2023 v4 SP2.

Also one on the floor in Portsmouth Virginia. A friend sent me this pic today…

Well they made (500) 1299SA's and 1500 Speciali's I think....I'm hoping they only make 500 of them.

Why, I have one of the few instances of a Ducati numbered special edition bikes that had some mods to it that you can only get on that bike, i.e. they are usually just a new paint job and some parts bin parts thrown on there….I promptly took the numbered triple tree off along with just about everything else altering the bike.

Why?….because I don’t believe that even for a second the bike will be a “collector’s item”….so I think hoping for a short run is just a fantasy sold by Ducati that you have something special and collectible because they number stamped it lol

Collector bikes become collector bikes when they are both groundbreaking in some way, AND a well sorted brilliant ride.

Think the 916 or Desmodecci RR.

By that criteria I don’t even think the HP4 Race will be a collectors item (though it may) because while it’s possibly the best bike in the last decade its not also groundbreaking

Bikes are a bad place to invest, numbered triple, revolutionary, ground breaking, or not.

Buy your bike, ride it or look at it, enjoy it.

Desmosidici has only just started rising in value, but only after the value of money has declined. In real terms, it hasn't gone up at all. Every Superleggera is worth a fraction of original value, as is the HP4 Race.

Ride and enjoy 😉

The new V4R sort of bears resemblance. The weird font number 1 is still odd.

Pecco's bike from WDW 2022. I can see this being a $2k add on decal option and your local Ducati dealer. I do like the body color wings.

yeah... i was mostly thinking about the force that it would have taken to get that wing off. That said there was probably a tremendous amount of momentum that wanted to keep him upright and going forward at that moment. Also understand why they do looped wings...

If you do decide to go down that route, then get your local auto paint shop to match it. I learned the hard way after getting the original PPG paint code, which didn't look right
